Well I think it was timing we got here about 6:15pm and 5 items needed to be replenished at the time we walked in there were 4 or 5 other couples in here eating my only wish if they could have had different selections like mussels and some sushi, some broccoli maybe some of the sauces were somewhat on the plain side and a little watery, we come here every time we are in Baraboo and some of those other times it great if they could just add some different selections it would be even better

So where to start… This buffet for one of the few positives I’ll list here has a very simple, yet cost effective design while having seemingly kind staff working for it. The price also is extremely good compared to other buffets I’ve visited. Now, however, the food was of extremely questionable quality. Some of it was very good, others I wished I never picked up and made me feel viscerally sick. Coming into the buffet was nice, layout was obvious and didn’t take any thought to properly manage what was going on. Pricing is a little strange with varying pricing on day of week, age, and time. If you are looking for Chinese buffet at cheap price, be very mindful of the food u decide to eat and at what time… I guess.

This place used to be good, but its gone way downhill since the buyout unfortunately. Tonight the soda had no ice, about half carbonated, and tasted like mold. Most of the food had been there and mixed in with new food instead of just throwing out the old food and replacing it. The cost was outlandish for what options and the quality of those options. They added an automatic gratuity onto the bill. When my brother n law and I were sitting there complaining about all this, the server hears us plan as day, yet says absolutely nothing. We never once got an “how is everything” the entire time. It will be a long time before I return here, if ever. We will now be taking our business to Wok King or the Sauk Chinese. As a local, it’s sad what it is becoming. The old owners never had these problems, and would have never have ignored a guest having an issue. I see on their Google reviews they also don’t take the time to make it right with their customers that have bad experiences. Every single positive comment has a reply from the owner. All the negative feedback, they ignore, EVERY SINGLE ONE.

We were there from705 to 740 pm on a friday night and 1/2 the pans empty. She said when is an hour til close we don’t make more. 7 people came in after us. Wonder what they ate

The service was commendable, and the staff exhibited professionalism and friendliness. The quality of the food was satisfactory, contributing to an overall decent experience. However, there are two concerns that could be remedied by management. Firstly, upon arrival at 11am., I was assigned a seat with a table that was notably unclean, appearing not to have been cleaned from the previous night. Secondly, I ordered two different beverages in separate cups, both of which contained small debris, indicating that the cleaning procedures for the machine require greater attention. These issues are addressable, and hopefully will be resolved appropriately.

The good: friendly, nice service, tasty peanut chicken and teriyaki chicken when fresh brought out, clean bathroom. The bad: really expensive and maybe partially due to time of visit (3:15 pm) – most all the food was very old, obviously sitting for quite some time. New food when brought out stirred into old. Overall, cannot recommend.
