A solid, honest place that fits its town well.
The atmosphere is simple, which is exactly what you expect — and what works — for a town of this size. No pretension, just a comfortable local restaurant.
I had a steak and fried calamari as an appetizer. The steak was very well prepared, with clearly good-quality meat. I ordered it rare, and it came closer to medium-rare, but that didn’t hurt the experience at all. The flavor was excellent, and I genuinely enjoyed it. The presentation was outstanding — far better than I expected.
The fried calamari was also very good: well balanced seasoning, light batter, and perfectly fried. Not greasy, not overdone — just right.
Service was fast, and it was obvious the food was cooked to order, not pre-prepared and reheated, which I really appreciated.
This is not a Michelin-level restaurant, and it doesn’t try to be. But for what it is, it’s very good, and I would definitely recommend it.

The Build your own boil was AMAZING! I got the Juicy Special mild with shrimp and scallops. Could have drunk that sauce!! My husband got the garlic butter mild and practically licked the dish clean! Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food comes fast. It’s a happy friendly place. Definitely stop and try!!

I came to this restaurant with low expectations, based on previous experiences with customer service and food in this town—which is why I usually travel two hours just to enjoy a good meal. However, I was genuinely impressed. Everything about my visit was pleasant. The drinks were amazing, my waitress was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the entire staff was welcoming. The decor was also beautiful and added to the overall atmosphere. While the prices were a bit high, the experience was well worth it.

Too noisy , our burger was way to salty, messed our order up completely. Our ticket was wrong added charges for tomato and pickles. Other customer’s tickets were wrong .our waitress shirt was dirty … very bad experience. No soap in bathroom.

I’ve never been so confused about a restaurant. Walk in and there’s Latin music playing and seafood restaurant decor. The menu was a little bit all over the place with Mexican, pasta dishes and seafood. Food was okay but nothing special. Music was entirely too loud.

I’ve had low expectations for this place but I’ve been coming back excited to keep trying what they have on the menu because it is soooo fricken good!!!!! TRY THE OYSTERS THE MEXICAN WAY (it’s called Cuchupeta Estilo Sinaloa) !!!!! Holy cow you won’t be disappointed if you love oysters and even if you don’t these would make you love them.
Prices are a bit pricey and the service can be a bit chaotic during the busy nights but I promise if you keep coming back or come when they aren’t so busy or find a spot at the bar this place is awesome big menu to explore and they have awesome drinks!! Frozen margs are easy to drink and get you addicted (they have like 10 different flavors) GET THE DRAGONFRUIT!!!! If you are coming for the boil JUICY SPECIAL sauce is the WAY TO GO!!!

This was a “weird” dining experience. The theme is a seafood and Mexican food. I felt like I was in a Mexican Red Lobster. Our waitress was outside on her cell phone when we arrived. We ordered and we never brought refills. Our waitress was sitting in another booth across from us and was on her cell phone. She eventually came over and we asked for refills. She said she was going on her “break” and said another server was gonna take over and take “good” care of us. Nobody ever came to our table to introduce themselves, not to be our waitress. We ended up leaving and told each other that WE WOULD NOT BE BACK! This was a HORRIBLE experience. The sad thing was, all the servers we standing together at the cashiers desk, talking and were on their phones and never bothered to check on us. On a positive note, the tacos were delicious.
