Super busy place with great waitresses! Especially KERYNN!!! they have real! I repeat REAL corn beef and hash!!!! That’s a big flipping deal to me because every time I go to a restaurant they claim it’s real corn beef and hash then bring me Canned moosh but not here!!!! It’s actual shredded corn beef with bell peppers and onions!!! They cooked everything up so fast that we were taken back we got our food so quick Especially for how busy they were!!! Decent price! Quick and honest service! Definitely a place to return to in the future! Thank you Kerynn!

After an early appt in reno, the missus and I decided to grab a bite before starting the trip home. She decided on Pegs, and I’m a huge breakfast fan so I heartily agreed.
At first look, it was your standard diner layout, clean if a little compact walkways. Overall though, no complaints. The service was outstanding, the young lady had a smile on her face the entire time we were there. Drinks were always ready, and we always felt like we were a valued customer.
My wife had the Belgian waffle, with a side of sausage and eggs. I tried the sausage and it was possible the best I’ve had in a decade, it was 6oz, thick, juicy and cooked perfectly. I had the pancakes and bacon with eggs. Unfortunately the bacon was much less than the sausage, it wasn’t bad, just tasted like thin precooked bacon. However, the drink… fresh… squeezed.. oj… it was a bit more expensive than I would of liked at 7 dollars, but man was it good.
The food was plentiful and tasted great, it is a bit pricier than a standard diner. With that being said though, the service and quality of food didn’t make me think I was eating money.
My biggest issue was parking, unfortunately being disabled I look at the parking, the handicap spots seem to be near a door thats no longer used anymore as opposed to being close to the entrance. Is not horrible, just an inconvenience really.
Overall, I highly suggest getting some morning grub here, you won’t be disappointed.

Portion sizes are huge, So keep that in mind. My son asked for 2 pancakes and I didn’t realize they were 12″ .

Good old fashioned diner comfort food. They have a really large menu with a large variety to chose from. Food was excellent and in abundance! You will not walk away hungry. Friendly people and atmosphere.

Highly recommend!!! The service was spectacular and the food was AMAZING!!! Didn’t get to take pictures of everything but the chicken fried steak, huevos rancheros, and waffles were delicious and the portions are huge!!! Definitely will be coming back.

We sat at the counter and split a huevos rancheros for a light breakfast. The service was excellent and we enjoyed watching the kitchen place every order up and the expediter was on point making sure every order was correct and delivered to the correct table.
I absolutely recommend that you try this place if and when you are in Sparks.

We came here on a Saturday morning around 10am. It was pretty busy and full, but we got seated right away for a family of 5. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I have nothing bad to say about the staff at all. I love how the staff work well together to get people in and out so there isn’t a long wait time. Every dish is about $15 to $20. The portion sizes are pretty big. You can easily split each plate between 2 people. I loved everything about this place. The only thing I wish they would work on is how they fast they got the food to the table. My food was a little cold already by the time I got it. This is my only complaint. The atmosphere and everything else was great.
