This is real home town cooking. The bacon was fabulous as were our omelets. Our sour dough toast was thick and delicious. The portions are generous! We know what we’re having for breakfast tomorrow morning. I would give this establishment more stars if I could!

BESTTT!!! This place has honestly blown my expectations through the roof. The moment we came inside we could smell how GOOD the food was going to be. The customer service was INCREDIBLE the waiter kept checking up on us to make sure if we needed anything. The food was DELICIOUS and the proportions were more than generous. We left with our stomachs full and our hearts content. Will DEFINITELY be coming back here again SOON.

If I could give 10 stars I would! We are in town for the weekend and got seated at the counter, watching the staff make the magic happen was a treat all to itself! Awesome to watch all the delicious food go out to the hungry customers, all with a smile! I had the Monte Cristo, perfect by the way, and my GF had the French toast with banana’s foster. Pure gold experience all the way around! This is the place to come for great food, sit at the counter for the entertainment! Thanks so much for topping off our great weekend!

Peg’s is always a great place for breakfast especially if you enjoy island dishes like a Loco Moco, Portuguese sausage and of course, spam and eggs. And I should note, I’ve been to a lot of Peg’s from Reno to Vegas and they’re all just a bit different one to the next. That said, I especially like the one here in Carson City because of the way they cook the above mentioned dishes and LOVE their specific mac salad. A pro tip of mine is to order up a side of pico to go with your meal as it’s fresh and delicious! My wife always like to order up their Belgian waffle with banana fosters or the Plaza Omelette and I can never resist finishing up what she can’t eat. Peg’s can get pretty busy on the weekends, especially on a Sunday after church lets out so if you’re coming in with your family, you should know there might be a wait.

Bring your appetite. The food is great and the portions are amazing. The same family has owned and operated this place for years. Prices are good and service is great. Can get crowded on weekends.
