Picked the place off the net to meet a friend about halfway between our homes. Intrigued by the “unique” bar. It is indeed unique. It zigs and zags throughout the interior. Totally cool. What also impressed us was the lunch special. That day was chicken and dumplings, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, roll, drink and dessert. The price was unbelievably low. They even asked if we wanted seconds! We’re coming back.

Use to work there. The owners only pay 2.16 to cook, serve, bartend,bounce and do janitorial services. The owners have got to bribe the health board because the kitchen is completely filthy and they dont provide gloves for cleaning bathrooms.

I’ve been going to Peecox since I was 21, always a good time and has good food, Breakfast is awesome. Peggy’s liver and onions are so amazing. The lunch buffet has been closed due to covid, it was always good country cooking.
