First time here. My husband and I shared a small cheese dip, which was flavorful. The chips were not stale. The salsa had a small kick, but not much flavor.

The service was spot on… The food was fresh hot and flavorful. The 2 for 1 Margaritas where o.k. but I’m sure in time they will get better. The atmosphere needs improvement on decorating and advertising…

Stopped by for dinner on a Friday night. Was not busy at all, 1 other table when we arrived 1 other by the time we left. Friendly and attentive staff. Food came out relatively quick and tasted good. Wasn’t a lot of food like most Mexican places but it was enough to fill you up. Salsa tasted good and the prices were very reasonable.

New Mexican joint in DFS. The atmosphere is great and the fajitas were pretty good, everything else was meh! There was 2 of us. Took forever to get our queso dip, so long the chips and salsa were basically gone… when it finally arrived it was cold, not warm, cold. My husband asked for it to be heated up, she returned after another long wait with an even larger dish of cold queso with jalapeños added this time. When asked what kind of tequila was used in the margaritas offered on the sign walking in, the waitress said that they don’t have any liquor- ummmm ok. Moved forward and asked what beer they had on draft- none. At the close of our meal I had to walk to the bar to get the check and ask for a box. There was only one other couple already eating when we arrived- left before we got our meal. Between no tequila or draft beer, odd service, and cold queso as my first experience, I’m not sure I’ll be back anytime soon.

Not bad, but underwhelming. Service was friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. Choriqueso was good. The salsa was bland and also tasted as if it was starting to ferment from sitting too long. The carnitas were drowned in an unnecessary red sauce that tasted like spaghetti sauce from a jar, and the rice and beans lacked flavor.

Meh. All around bland and cold. Oddly enough the “salsa” (literally tomato sauce with pepper in it) was the only thing that came out warm. Queso dip was cold, actually had flavor? But still cold. And 4$ for the smallest bowl possible. We got a taco salad and steak quesadilla. The taco salad shell was good and crispy, everything else cold and bland. The quesadilla is very “I made it in my kitchen as a snack” no flavor on the meat at all, very little meat as well for the size of the quesadilla. Very minimal cheese. Was cold when it got to the table. Only real upside here is that they make their chips fresh.

We stopped here on our way home and it was delicious. I had the chicken and spinach quesadilla with added grilled onions and my husband had the enchiladas Verde and we both had cheese added on our rice, both were really good. The salsa and refried beans are homemade and the beans are pork free which is hard to find! They service was great, our waitress was very friendly and attentive-! We will definitely eat here again!

Stopped by on the way through town. Pretty standard Mexican restaurant fare, but that’s what I was expecting. Staff was friendly. Food came out quick and correct. Was not busy. I had the Steak a la Mexicana and really like the flavor in the sauce. The steak was good, not gummy like some places. Would return if I’m in the area.

First visit at lunch. Disappointed as to the quality of the food. Salsa is mostly tomato sauce; not great. Queso was lukewarm and the taco salad was small. Lettuce beans meat tomatoes. No rice or guacamole. The meat and beans were cold also. The taco bowl was fresh and crispy. Overal not too impressed. By the way, odd smell in the building.

We went yesterday for lunch and everything was great. Ordered steak quesadilla $10 and it had a lot of steak on it. My husband and son order the steak and shrimp and said it was fantastic. Not sure what anything else tastes like because we all got the steak but it was well seasoned and delicious. 1-year-old grandson spilled salsa all over the table and the waitress was so nice about it. We will definitely be going back. Sorry, didn’t even think to take photos.
