My Mom lives in Nanuet and this is our favorite place to eat when visiting her. Over the past 3 years we have dined here about 20 times. Every time the wait staff is very friendly, diner is extremely clean, food arrives quickly, and the quality of the food is excellent. I Have to say Small on the outside but we had a Great Time, our 3rd time here. Food was very flavourful and great portions, Service was Excellent Place was very clean and the Atmosphere was quaint and comfortable. I have only been here twice since the new owners took over but both times the food was very good. Breakfast omelet and burger with fries – both very good. The service is also very good. There is a slight language barrier with some of the servers, so orders were confused a little bit, but they were quick to fix things and they try really hard – I’m sure ease of communication will improve with experience! I look forward to coming back again.

My wife and I have been ordering from Pearl River Diner for the past 3 years and in recent months, their service has been HORRIBLE. Today they not only miss an item in the order, but my wife ordered a sandwich with French fries and asked to put the food “separate”. Meaning the fries in another container. They made a grilled cheese and on the side was the bacon, avocado and tomato and even the mayo! We did not for a disassembled sandwich!! How can you pry open melted cheese to add anything? We then call to fix the issue, they say they will correct it and send it through GrubHub and it never came. I call to ask for a full refund and try to explain their poor service the last few months. I was hung up on TWICE by 2 different men and on the 3rd call they had a woman answer and her first question was if I spoke Spanish. Which I DO but I’d like to speak in my main language and be understood! They hung up AGAIN then after numerous call backs, they did not answer my calls. DO NOT order from Pearl River Diner if you want an establishment that actually cares about their customers! And after everything, the one thing they NEVER thought of doing was to give a simple apology. Never ONCE did they simply just say sorry. They never cared and we never got our refund. DON’T trust Pearl River Diner!!

You gotta come here for the Greek food. I got the chicken Souvlaki Platter, which was spot on. Our server was really nice, which always leaves a good impression. The serving size was also more than enough for all members of my party, so none of us left hungry.
