I visited PDQ recently and had a really great experience overall.
First, the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Something I appreciated a lot: no one made it awkward by demanding tips—service was genuinely kind and professional without any pressure.
The place itself looked amazing. The decorations were beautiful (it felt festive and warm), and the restaurant was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It’s a nice spot for friends or family, and the vibe was even better with the nice music playing in the background. I also noticed a lot of people using the drive-thru, so it seems like a popular location.
Food-wise, the prices felt very reasonable for the quality. I ordered the 5-piece chicken strips and just a heads-up: the spice level is serious. It reminded me of Korean BBQ level spicy—a tangy + spicy combo that hits fast. It was flavorful, but I’d recommend ordering it only if you can truly handle heat.
My meal came with bread and two sauces, and please don’t skip their garlic mayo sauce—that one is a must. Another plus: the meal included an unlimited fountain drink, and they also had sugar-free options, which is great if you’re avoiding sugar. The drink counter was very well managed, organized, and stocked. They even had tea available, which I wasn’t expecting.
Usually on fast food chain either main course isn’t freshly prepare or at-least fries are sad… but here everything was super fresh!!!

This used to be a good place to grab a quick bite. You never had to check your order.
Today they reached a new low, showed up to the drive through and waited 5 minutes for someone to come to open the window despite someone in eyesight. Ended up parking and going in, only for them to get the order wrong.
Think itll be a while before i give them another shot.

I’m guessing at the atmosphere, since we went to the drive through. My son really likes it, so I decided to take him there. He says the people were really friendly. He was right. The only fast food (I hate to call it that, but you can go to a drive through and get your food at a window. It’s not a fair comparison, though.) place I’ve seen with people like this is at Chick-fil-A. We got chicken tenders and fries. Really good. The honey mustard sauce is the best!!! I intentionally got too make tenders so there would be some for the next day. They were even better after I heated them in the air fryer! I couldn’t believe it.
I didn’t go inside, so that’s for you to find out, but I can’t imagine you’d be disappointed.

The chicken here is very fresh! It tastes very juicy and tender! They have a variety of different dipping sauces to change up the flavors… they also have hundreds of soft drinks and sodas, something for any desire… try the zucchini fries here cause they are one of the best ones I’ve ever had!

Now PDQ is the best place in Palm Beach county the manager Estrella better known as Star is amazing her team is amazing quick and fast on their feet the minute I ordered my food she was prompt and asked that I get everything I needed and offered me a drink the kitchen staff is amazing it was very clean the employees are very friendly I love this place so much I’m thinking about going back multiple times

Oh man.. this place is top notch. By the time I got to the window to get my food after just ordering it from the wonderful attendant.. I thought… damn, that was quick!! Only to learn that PDQ means pretty damn quick. Everytime we go the meal is perfect. They never slip up. Best fried chicken sandwich around.

This rating should probably be for 3 1/2 stars. I had read many reviews of this place and last week after picking my wife up from work we decided to give PDQ a try (Okeechobee location).
We got there for early dinner (around 3:30) and only a couple of folk were ahead of us in line. The cashier was professional and polite as we ordered our food.
The place is pretty spacious and actually quite clean with an open concept. You can see pretty much everything in there from most any seat.
I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich combo and my wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich combo… both with waffle fries. My wife liked the fries better than the other chicken place’s fries. I did not. I found them to be overcooked and not salty, at all. And the portions seemed a bit stingy.
My sandwich was pretty decent and my wife liked her sandwich okay. The bread on the bottom of mine looked either old or over baked… but in all fairness, did not taste stale.
Overall, it was a decent meal but neither of us felt like it would be worth driving out of our way to visit again. Certainly better than most of the ‘fast food’ burger places out there, but nothing memorable.
