Paws is great! The server was fantastic. I ordered the ribeye, and it was excellent. It’s hard to find a place that serves a good steak. They clearly choose wisely. Thanks!

Although the atmosphere is very nice, the service was very slow. No one even came to our table until we requested someone. I had one of their burgers which was very, very dry and kind of burnt. So for the price that they charge it’s really not worth it..

Usually quiet. Food is good-not gourmet but a place you can have a nice dinner without rushing. Not a large menu but ribs are excellent and portions are large. We will be back.

Nice hotel bar. It includes a few locals that hang out most nights it is open. Food was as you expected. And they do have happy hour specials.

Ordered the ribs. We are from Chicago originally and know good ribs. Paws ribs are the best ribs we’ve had since we left Chicago 25 years ago. Meat was cooked perfectly, sauce was excellent, they were not dry, and portion was generous. We shared a full rack and had leftovers. (Should offer 1/2 rack option). We called the Chef out and thanked him personally…they were so amazing! Thanks for a great dinner!

I was staying at the Bertram inn and tried calling down to place an order for pickup. No answer from the restaurant twice. So I went down in person and was able to place an order with a server. I then sat and waited at the sushi bar for 30 minutes before finally asking where my food was and being told that it was ready and given to me. It wasn’t busy by any means, I’m pretty sure they just forgot about me.

Waiter was very inexperienced, food was cold and not to discription, steaks were over and under cooked, dessert, well they took one piece and destroyed it and tried to pass it off as two pieces, another piece was large and one was a sliver, really? Horrible, however, manager was accommodating, expensive for what you get

I have been to Paws during Happy Hour not once or twice but many times. That is proof of the fact that I love this place. Any restaurant that makes me go again and again has a couple of things going besides being a very convenient location. One is service and the the other, of course, is the quality of food. In the service area, I haven’t seen a better person than Mitch. He makes an exceptional old fashioned but I have also had gin and tonic as well as scotch. He has a very pleasant personality’ Also hard working and pays good attention to any customer needing help. I admire him since he is also a student at other times.

I am a very understanding individual, and I’ve worked in the food industry with understaffing. But this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. To start, my fish sandwich still had the skin on it so I gave it back but was offered nothing to replace it. My wife’s $20+ chicken salad was romaine lettuce from the grocery store with a wad of chicken placed on top (uncut). I could’ve made this at home for $3. Another person had cold potatoes and broccoli. Some people got their dinners 20-30 minutes before others and the first ones to eat were those who got the grilled cheese. Why in the world would you cook that first when you know it’s the easiest thing to make? We as the guests ended up being the ones to fill everyone’s water back up, otherwise I’d still be waiting to have it refilled.

This was our first time eating from Paws. We ordered the clam bake with chicken to go. It came with two sides and a dessert. Everything was hot, fresh, and packaged appropriately. The clam chowder was good but the portion was smaller than I expected. The chicken and clams were very good. I normally do not order dessert but this was a mini lava style Bundt cake with some kind of caramel topping and it was delicious. Overall the quality of food was good and fit the price.
