Elegant restaurant with great menu. Eating at 11:15 on a weekday we were seated promptly, and served water and drinks as well. We ordered the smoked deviled eggs with Roe, Redfish with Crab, and the Low country crab cakes…All delicious and plated nicely. Robust, full flavors. Especially loved the sea grass on the deviled eggs and the flavor profiles on all the dishes.

This was the perfect anniversary dinner. We live just down the street, and somehow have never been until yesterday. It was great. We were seated promptly (we made a reservation, but it didn’t seem too busy for a Friday night at 6), and welcomed warmly. The waiter was very friendly and well versed on the menu, history, and pairings. The food was delicious. I had the beef tenderloin burger and my husband had the redfish with crabmeat. Both were phenomenal. The pop up bread complementary appetizer was a bit over cooked, but not too bad. We both aren’t fans of strawberry butter in general, but this butter was great! Everything was cooked exactly how we wanted, and tasted better than we could imagine! A great place for special occasions

Truly best of fine dining. As a tourist not knowing where to dine, I searched online and found this treasure. Located near the river with sunset view and indoor outdoor dining. Very classy restaurant offering delicious quality meals and great service. The fish was moist and done to the perfection. Salad was super fresh and delicious. Drinks were okay. The complementary French buns were so tender, buttery, and delightful. I would dine there again.

Sadly this restaurant experience did not live up to the hype. While our server was lovely, I think he was the only one for the entire restaurant the night we dined.

Overall a very unusual experience. I would avoid the sugar powdered “Yorkshire puddings” they serve initially with some kind of strawberry butter. Asian lettuce wraps were pretty good but unusual as it was large slices of chicken vs minced. Burger was cooked very well & fries were good but the patty lacked a little bit of seasoning. Our server was super sweet and looked after us very well however, the atmosphere was a little stuffy.

I took red fish. taste is similar to steak. If you like mushroom source, go for it. However if you are meat lover, I don’t recommend. It was peaceful.

Nice view and nice food. I like the puffs they gave to us at the beginning of the course. Very soft and tasty. I had the Shrimp and Grit, a little bit salty but flavorful. Thought I would be hungry after this course, turned out you will be very full after you had this one.

Ate here for Mother’s Day. I’m not usually someone who reviews and pretty easy to please, but our experience was very bad. The restaurant generally has a great reputation, so we were surprised and pretty disappointed. The service was bad, it took a long time for servers to come to our table despite the fact that there seemed to be many of them. It was a Mother’s Day menu where you ordered all courses at the beginning, and the options were very generic. When we did order it took quite a while for our food to come, and sides were missing from all four of our plates. When asked, the server admitted that they ran out of a number of items but hadn’t told us. This seemed to happen to a number of other tables, as we were seated next to the kitchen and other patrons were regularly coming by to speak to the manager about similar bad experiences. It was taking forever to get our desert from the fixed menu, so we asked for it to go – at which point we were told that our desert options were no longer available. To the managers credit, they took off our kids meals, which was very kind. However, when we paid the server did not include an itemized receipt – I asked for it and saw that gratuity was included. This came across as the server trying to get a double tip.
