We stopped in on a Friday morning around 10:30AM and they were moderately busy. The service was very slow though. We simply ordered two almon croissants and two small cups of coffee. We sat down and waited about 10 mins for the coffee to be brewed; you’d figure they were have it fresh and filled in the urns all morning ready to pour.
The service from the cashier wasn’t very personable nor friendly, but the other folks were clearly happy to be working there. The almond croissants were amazing! Absolutely loved them! The coffee was slightly on the bitter and very dark side, but was decent.
Overall, it was an ‘ok’ visit for our first visit to a PAUL in the US. The last one we’ve been to was in Paris and even though it was crazy busy, that experience was much better.

Their strawberry croissant was still crunchy after I took it to go and had it hours later. Yes, the prices are high, but there are plenty of higher rated places that serve worse.

This used to be a favorite spot for our family of four, but we’re not going back. The prices are now outrageous, and we would still consider going occasionally but the degraded quality, the poor service and the lack of cleanliness of the place makes it even worse.
We went in a couple of weeks ago and my cappuccino was tasteless and not warm emough, the bread has changed for the sandwiches. This is no longer authentic, crusty French baguette. Some of the pastries have also changed, in particular the ones with cream. And they can never grt the chocolate croissants cooked right anymore: the puff pastry is not airy/ puffed up at all, feels undercooked or not cooked at the right temperature.
Worst was the service/ cleanliness of the space. I always have to wipe the tables. That day was busy and two employees who were on break each took a small table next to each other and were eating/ talking while customers came in and were struggling to find tables. The employees sat there for almost an hour.
The Paul head office needs to do a better job of auditing their franchise locations. This location clearly changed ownership and since then things have gone downhill.
I itIt’s a shame they are allowing their brand to be tarnished.

We went for brunch at this cafe a while back on a Saturday. The cafe had a variety of pastries and other options. As we walked in, we were amazed by the delicious-looking pastries inside the display. However, the food we had was just okay and nothing special. The cafe could be improved in all aspects, especially keeping the seating area clean and tidy.

Paul Coffee Shop at Tysons Galleria is one of my favorite places for a morning coffee. They make their coffee perfectly hot — especially the espresso — just the way I like it. Not many places do that! They actually heat the water first, which makes the coffee extra hot and enjoyable.
The atmosphere is great — elegant and calm, perfect for business meetings or casual conversations. The interior has a professional vibe, and the small outdoor area is lovely on nice days. Overall, it’s a really nice coffee shop and one of my favorites in Tysons.

Oh my where do I start?! My mom and I were in Virginia visiting family and they recommended this bakery too us. Lucky for us it was on our way back home to New York. Since we were in a rush we just took everything to go. Let me say we went during a busy hour but the service was impeccable!! The place looked clean and the displays were beautiful and everything looked delicious I almost took one of everything to try. My mom ordered the salad and she loved it!! What was really delicious was their iced peach tea!! Let me tell you….. STARBUCKS COULD NEVER!! It was delicious I still drool thinking about that iced tea. As for the pastries they were absolutely delicious!! I took a bite and every bite was a piece of heaven. The Almond croissant I had saved it to bring it to work but 2 days had pass until I remembered about the croissant and I was so surprised at how fresh it still was. I think it’s safe to say my mom and especially me loved it!! We definitely will be making an effort to go back when we visit our family!!

Decent pastries for exorbitant prices. My wife and I were at the Galleria to buy something, and we saw the pastries on the way out the door. We do love some good pastries. She got an Apple Turnover and I had a Cheese Danish. But when I got to the register to pay, the price was $14.00 for the two items. They were good, but knowing that I paid $7 for each item made them taste less good and left a bad taste in my mouth overall. It was nice to try them, but I have had equally good pastries for less than half that price. Needless to say, I won’t be going back there again.

Disappointing Experience
I ordered the croissant with egg and ended up with a bad upset stomach shortly after. The timing was hard to ignore, and it left me with serious concerns about the kitchen’s cleanliness and food handling practices. I won’t be returning, and would encourage others to proceed with caution.

For many years we have been going and eating there.
Tonight the food was like subway no offense to subway but it was not French pastry shop.
The tuna sandwich was on stale bread and salty, the raisin pastry was not French ones we use to have before.
Not sure if the franchise is sold or going out of business.
But they should not be open.
Never go again.
