Great food and service. Bierra tacos were great- we drank the au-jus straight as it had nice cinnamon overtones. Guacamole was perfect with the chips light and fluffy. The 3 tacos- were the traditional small one: the pastor had small amounts of pineapple – very traditional; steak (carne asada) was cooked perfectly as little strips and the carnitas has tons of flavor. The trea-leche was a hit with it’s nice flavora. The margherita was flavorful and well balanced. The service was amazing- they gave us special hot sauce, not on the menu, when we asked for habanero sauce (they didn’t have). Will go again- need to taste everything on the menu!

It’s a family run business and really cute and wholesome!

The food is made by the mom and it’s delicious. The birria tacos are wonderful and the carnitas and pastor mixed taco is really good!

My one negative might be that it’s not as filling compared to the price so it’s a bit expensive, but it’s a mom and pop restaurant so it’s worth it.

Haven’t had drinks here so can’t speak to that, but the bar looks cute and so do the drinks.

The vibe is very homey, it’s small so if you come with a group it gets super busy.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I’ve never been one to have a go-to spot for dinner but my boyfriend and I love eating here on a monthly basis! The food and flavor is out of this world! Tasty drinks, amazing staff, and the best music. We are moving out of the area and will miss this place so much! ❤️

It’s definitely on the more expensive side of Mexican food throughout the Boston area. Nevertheless service had no faults, and the food was incredible. The Birria Tacos and Nachos are a must-try. Also, there wasn’t a wait for my table but if you come at six or seven, there will probably be a wait.

Patzcuaros is literally the best Mexican place I have been around the Boston area. Tacos are always fresh and delicious and the Margaritas are the best I have ever taste in the whole state of Massachusetts. This is coming from someone that has tried many, if not all Mexican restaurants around the area. One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Also, the service is always on top. Bravo! Please, keep the same energy and quality.

This place was an all star and all around great experience! I don’t remember the last time eating food at a restaurant that was so good that I cleaned my plates off! But here, I did and finished every last chip and dip and food we had, it was that great and flavourful!

Guacamole was perfect and probably the best I’ve had, tortilla chips were super fresh, crispy and not oily at all which was surprising to me since they’re always kinda where most mexican restaurants falter.

I had the veggie tostados which were delicious, packed and just the right serving to fill you up properly by your last bite. My partner had the flautas which were packed with meat and had a nice smoky, umami, spicy flavour to it.

The elotes were excellent because of the sauce and overall the service was extremely attentive and helpful. Each member of the staff greeted and served us with a radiant smile which only comes when you’re really proud of the place you work at and the food you serve.

Lastly, this was by far the cleanest and nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a restaurant that didn’t smell like a bathroom at all! All the details in the bathroom spoke of someone thoughtful behind it. Multiple hooks, spacious, good and refreshing air freshener that wasn’t overpowering and a giant mirror, stuff that’s hard to get right and maintain!

I highly recommend this womxn owned small business for its excellent service and food! Don’t pay attention to the reviews that complain of food being salty or whatever because they’re clearly not used to well seasoned food that actually has flavours. The seasoning in every dish we had was just right. Thank you for the wonderful food and this surely won’t be the last time I visit this place!

PS there’s plenty of free parking further up the street and on side streets if you don’t want to park in metered spots!

Overall this is a fantastic little Taqueria. I highly recommend it for a small gathering or a casual first date. The service has always been top notch and the atmosphere has a very calm vibe.

My wife swares my their Birria Tocos, we’ve tried a number of places and she says they are the best. I particularly like their shrimp Tacos. The only thing holding my back from giving a full five stars is that all their other Tacos don’t have many toppings and are kind of plane for my taste. If you are a Taco purist, and can do without all the salsas, guac, corn, and green leafy stuff, I’m sure you’ll love their Tacos and selection of 3 sauces. Or get the shrimp or Birria Tocos which have a bit more flare.

We absolutely loved our dinner at Pátzcuaro, the place has a very homey feel to it, quaint and cute. The service was excellent, everyone was so kind and authentic, and made sure our orders were correct! The food was brought out quickly and piping hot, and everything was delicious. The taquitos were my favourite! I would absolutely recommend you stop by here for really good mexican food 🙂

Patzcuaro continually shows why it is one of the most underrated restaurants in the Greater Boston area. Everything from the food, the drinks, to the service was absolutely top of the line. By far one of the best guacamoles I have EVER had, not to mention the flautas, tacos, and even the tres leches cake – all amazing. I’d give 10 stars if I could, and I can’t wait to go back.

Found this hidden gem on Instagram one day and the birria tacos served here looked insane so of course I had to try it! The restaurant is small but the staff are super sweet. You can try and walk in; however, the place does fill up quickly so try and get a reservation if you can! Started off with an order of guacamole and chips with some salsa and upon first glance it looks pretty regular. But the first bite of the guacamole and you can feel how smooth and zesty it’s been made. The salsa was also delicious with some heat! For entrees ordered the Al pastor burrito and of course the birria tacos. The burrito was massive and a very interesting take on a burrito as it was crispy and seared well unlike most burritos which are usually quick soft and floppy.
But no flops here. Pair each bite with the guac or salsa and it’s perfect moving on to the star of the show, why I came here! The birria looks amazing. I loved how crispy the fried cheese was. Similar to the burrito, most birria taco spots make a wet and floppy taco, but no flops here!! The meat was super tender and you can tell it’s been stewed inside the consume for hours maybe even days?! Each bite was better than the last.
My only warning is due be mindful of how much consume you’re consuming as it’s a little salty and you might not notice it until after you’ve left the restaurant or even the next day.
