I had the homeaide chicken salad sandwich…I hit a home run with that dish…I think Mary Beth is her name that makes it, I had tomatoes on the side…perfectly salted and pepperd.
Place was so good I got the bologna sandwich with the Mac n cheese for dinner. I had to reheat it of course…so wonderful. I plan on going back and trying tge rest of the menu.

We just happen to be traveling through Crossville and stopped by for lunch. The owners and several other staff went over and beyond to welcome us. Before we left, we received the history of the restaurant, the owners sandwich “competition”suggestions, and 2 fantastic sandwiches. I understand why this place is rated so highly. Great food and experience!

If you haven’t stopped to eat at Long Road Cafe, you’re missing out! Don’t sleep on this place. Great atmosphere inside with fantastic food! Try the Mary’s Melt or the BLT or pretty much anything. Their Mac n Cheese and Pasta Salad are to die for!

Always greeted with a welcoming smile when I visit here, just around the counter from the house. Today I had the brisket burger and it was very delicious. However the 5th star if we had one would go to the pepper slaw. I’m not a fan of vinegar slaw but this flavor profile was on point. Little hint of peppers and some sweetness to it. Loved it.

I stopped in here with a real estate client of mine to grab lunch and everything about this place is amazing! The employees are all very friendly, the food is amazing. I had a Reuben with mac n cheese, it was probably the best of both I’ve ever had. Very impressed and I’ll definitely be back.

Made the ride out to Long Road Cafe yesterday for lunch. The food was delicious!! I had the Italian sub, which was exactly what I missed from my teenage years. My fiancée had the “Porker” flatbread and said it the best pizza she’s had recently. My mom had the club sandwich and said it was great! We all definitely recommend taking the ride out to Mayland and stopping by. The entire staff is super, super friendly and helpful, like you’d expect at a mom n pop shop. Their menu isn’t gigantic but it doesn’t need to be with quality ingredients and recipes. Another great place that isn’t commercialized fast food.

We wanted to take a drive on a nice day so we tried this place based on the reviews. I don’t give many 5 star but when a place has good food, a nice variety and especially an excellent friendly staff this place deserved 5 stars. We tried the chicken pesto wrap. Nice spicy fresh taste. If you’re thirsty there is a good selection of bottled drinks plus a decent beer selection. Definitely try this place if you’re near by or just as a nice drive to a friendly place. Enjoy.

We came here to eat and try something new instead of eating in Cookeville. At first we were just expecting a little country Cafe that had great reviews. Boy were we surprised!! This Cafe has EXCEPTIONAL food and 2 owners that work it full of pride and love for their business! The potato bread they use is some of the best bread we’ve ever had!! Soft, light and flavorful! The Mac n cheese is so dang good and homemade! They offer adult beverages, canned and bottled drinks! We are addicted and will definitely be back for more! Thank you for an AMAZING lunch!!! P.s. the pimento and cheese sample was great and we will get an order next time!
