5 stars all around! Stopped by during a farmer’s markets “crawl” and I’m so glad we did! We tried the quiche, which came with a side so went with the roasted carrots, and grabbed a pumpkin scone and some “crunchies.” Everything was not only super fresh but also delicious! I honestly couldn’t believe how flavorful all our choices were, which you can tell is because they’re super fresh, natural ingredients. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and informative. The environment is quaint, but elevated. I highly recommend it, it’s definitely worth the drive! I myself plan on going back soon!

Finally stopped by Patti’s Place today. I have been wanting try it out for a while since I live relatively nearby. Multiple staff members warmly welcomed me right when I walked in. They asked if I was interested in ordering a coffee, which I was because that’s what I went there mostly for. I ordered a cinnamon latte with oat milk. She added honey in it as well. It was delicious! They have a beautiful back porch type of area with a climbing sort of play area for kids. There’s a huge wine library as well as a market area with meats, cheeses, eggs, olive oils, breads, peanuts, and other stuff. Definitely want to go back and try some of their foods. The quiches they had on display looked wonderful, as well as the baked goods

While visiting from the West Coast I had the good fortune to stumble across Patti’s . I was looking for a causal place to have lunch with relatives (including picky eater teenagers) and thought Patti’s sounded perfect. We had such an amazing time. The food was incredible, grilled cheeses and chocolate cake being the big hits with teens. I enjoyed my time there so much I invited my friends from DC to come up and meet me the next day so we could enjoy the astounding wine collection together on the back porch. Joy and Jaclyn (owner) are incredibly friendly and made selecting new wines from interesting places fun and easy. My DC friends and I enjoyed delicious food and wine on their back porch for hours while my friend’s son played with the owner’s daughter in the backyard playground. I will be making a point to visit Patti’s every time I find my self in this part of Virginia.

Nestled in the heart of the countryside, Patti’s Place offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. This cozy restaurant & marketplace prides itself on using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Upon entering, the warm and rustic decor immediately sets the tone for a welcoming experience. The menu changes weekly (I believe). I had the egg salad sandwich which was served with a delicious zucchini & kale salad. I also had the sausage rolls and crunchies. If you love coffee they serve a really good cup! Patti’s Place is family owned and operated. Their passion for local ingredients and sustainable practices truly shone through, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Patti’s Place is a must-visit. Its commitment to fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and its charming country setting make it a standout dining destination.

Patti’s Place is a warm, homey spot where the welcoming atmosphere makes you feel like a regular the moment you walk in. The pastries—especially the savory handpies—are truly standout: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. They also offer natural home products and have an exceptionally friendly staff. A perfect stop if you’re craving something comforting, and I’ll definitely be back for a wine flight.
