Fantastic place on California Avenue for delicious french food. Was able to accommodate a large part of 8 without advanced reservations at 6pm on a Friday. Absolutely love the escargot. Delicious buttery, perfectly cooked nuggets. The mussel soup contained fantastic portions with a massive amount of mussels. Calamari’s was beautifully fried and very airy/light.

Came here for a Sunday brunch for outdoor dining and it was a super cute ambiance! We were seated immediately at 11 am and we got served quite quickly – we got the mango mimosas and the onion soup and the omelette with ham and onion and the French toast with hazelnut and banana, the standouts were definitely the onion soup and french toast! Both were quite light and unique but also super unique, the rest were a bit generic, especially the omelette. Overall, a solid experience and a cute date spot!

Walked into this restaurant because our favorite breakfast restaurant had closed. Lucky for us. This was a great decision.

I’ve tried their brunch and dinner menu options and both are pretty solid. Personally, I didn’t think it was amazing, but a decent choice if you’re in the area and a good French restaurant in the area. Prices were moderate to high, but they reflected the general pricing in Palo Alto.

This was a cozy French brunch spot for my family and I. The entire staff was amiable and diligent. I ordered the ‘omelette au fromage,’ and the presentation was incredible. It came with delicious roasted potatoes, a sweet, adorable flower-shaped bread, and my main dish. Unfortunately, the excitement halted when I found not one but two hairs cooked into my omelet. On top of that, my omelet only had cheese on top and nothing on the inside, so it wasn’t that appetizing. I would love to come back, but hopefully, there won’t be any hair on my dish next time.

Perfect outdoor dining choice for brunch breakfast on a chilly morning. We each enjoyed the hot, fresh, and flavorful Omelette De Campagne with potatoes. Then we shared the Le Parisien French toast with yummy chocolate hazelnut filling. Service was prompt and professional. Perfect. Well done Pastis!

Amazing food. The staff is very friendly. Each dish was better than the next. The wives were really good as well. The place is a bit tight though. A lot of parking around as well.

The mussels in white wine, garlic and parsley sauce served with french fries were to unbelievable. The house made Creme Brûlée was also as delicious to finish it off. This beautiful dinner was paired with a few nice glasses of Boudreaux.

Generous portions of authentic French food in a simple decor. The mussles are high quality and very large! Desserts are so pretty!

Spend a few Euros-equivalent at this French style bistro and cozy restaurant. Eavesdrop on different foreign dialects, slurp on some super fresh mussels and frites (french fries). The wines by the glass needs a little kick as they are acceptable but not fabuleux.. Specialty drinks are stout, weekend brunch is a clever option and popular. The staff seem settled and comfortable among the clientele. Outdoor seating definitely transports you to France and people watching.
