Ordered a custom cake, told them what was wanted. Got the cake, it was pitiful. Asked for writing- wasn’t on the cake. I guess there was a miscommunication there. Someone put writing on the cake after bringing it up. Well, it was off center and not written well. The only saving grace was the flavoring. A bit skimpy with the filling inside but it was good.

I normally love the baked goods from here but today I came in and got some lobster tails and cannoli’s. When I went to try the lobster tail it had this weird taste same with the cannoli’s. Either the baked goods are old and left in the fridge to long OR fridge itself needs to be cleaned/repaired. Threw them out, what a waste of money. Can’t trust this won’t happen again.

Absolutely delicious deserts, I would come here anytime for that specifically. Lunch is okay, it’s fast and rather cheap, nothing worth driving out of the way for. But if your local then it’s a nice quick bite for lunch. Typically friendly staff. Menu is constantly changing but the deserts have stayed comstant for the decades my family has been coming here for. Recommend for any parties or desert lovers.

I visited last weekend to see if if I could order a simple wedding cake for a small event. Was told by the three younger ladies that the baker had left for the day and that I would have to come back during the week. Then they said I could look at a book that wasn’t organized with pictures and no prices.Came back twice and no baker. Then I finally called and stated what I was looking for, and now I have to make an appointment for a tasting to even see the baker to ask about options. and of course, there are no appointments until a week later. Which is after my event.

Wonderful bakery in Bloomfield! I have almost tried everything on their menu but my favorite is always the chocolate cakes! I did also enjoy the pizza there and also the cookie boxes are good to be gifted for anyone with a sweet tooth and oh yes they even have sugar free cookies if you don’t want the sugar rush!

The lunches are delicious and very reasonably priced. The variety is outstanding. But the bakery is out of this world. Everything is amazing. I’m a huge fan of the Italian cookies and they have the best around. The raspberry mouse cake is to die for!
