Came here on NYE w the wife as I saw this spot on TikTok. It’s a very cozy restaurant where you can order at the table or counter and grab a number so the food can be brought over. They have a decent selection of pastas, definitely fresh. I tried the bolognese and carbonara. My bolognese was cooked well but the spaghetti tasted a bit under for my preference. The texture wasn’t right which is unfortunate because their sauces are excellent. No cheap ingredients, taste was great. Pricing is fair – expensive side, we got 2 pastas and a salad for $70. Again for the quality it makes sense. The salad was fantastic! Vinaigrette was yum! The chicken cutlet is a must. Sensational! I’d come here again but hope I’d get better service. They forgot to give me bread and I only found out because I saw other tables get as soon as they were seated.Food comes out fast. It’s definitely somewhere I’d recommend trying at least once.

I had an absolutely phenomenal meal at Pastaru Pastificio and I’m already planning my return.
We started with the Carciofini Fritti, which were perfectly crisp, light, and beautifully seasoned. Not greasy at all — just delicate, golden, and addictive. A fantastic way to open the meal.
The Polpette were rich, tender, and deeply flavorful. You can taste the quality of the meat and the balance of herbs. Comforting without being heavy.
For my main, I had the Rigatoni with Amatriciana and it was outstanding. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, and the sauce had that ideal balance of bright tomato, savory guanciale, and sharp pecorino. Bold, authentic, and incredibly satisfying. Every bite tasted intentional.
What really sets this place apart is the quality of the pasta itself — you can tell it’s made with care. Simple ingredients, done properly, which is exactly what great Italian food should be.
If you’re looking for authentic, well-executed Italian in Mineola, this is it. Highly recommend.

I Love this Place! It truly brings me back to Italy ! Simone and staff are very hospitable. Welcome us always with a smile and always treat us well. But on to the real deal. The food here is fantastic. The pasta is always on point and cooked to perfection. The specials hit every time ! The pistachio pesto mortadella sandwich fantastic , the potato and leek ravioli amazing. Also I Highly recommend the spaghetti cacio e pepe and the fettuccine bolognese Is another delight !
Dessert and coffee Is a must also. The cannoli and the tiramisù outstanding. Everything is fresh and done to perfection.
Also the lunch special prices can’t be beat. Authentic fresh Italian pasta for 12 dollars is unbeatable!

I happened to stumble on this gem on IG. I love to see a good casual pasta restaurant that doesn’t break the bank. Overall, we had a great experience. We each ordered our respective pasta dishes by choosing the sauce & pasta type. I was pleased at the quality of ingredients and the whole experience was made to be quick and easy – mostly self-serve but the workers are there to help as well. Very hospitable as well.
I enjoyed funghi e tartufo (mushroom truffle) and my friend as well with her vodka pasta. They give complimentary bread as well. This spot would be perfect for a quick meal with friends or a date night!

Went on a little lunch date with my husband. Happy I did. We were greeted very nicely by the owner (think it was him) He walked us through the menu and offered suggestions. We tried the appetizer special of the day and it was phenomenal! I believe it was a prosciutto kind of croquet with this basil mayo! Yum! The pasta was extremely filling and super fresh as it is made in house. We will definitely be coming back!

Oh. My. God!!! Undeniably fresh, delicious, and flavorful !!Reasonably priced! I cannot believe my taste buds!! I started with the simple rigatoni with meat sauce in case I was disappointed…. Now when I go back I’m going to want that again yet I’m going to want to try something new! I never give such a rave review but this one earned it on its own merit! MUST try.
