The staff was very friendly and kind. They have somewhat variety of food cosidering it’s a carnitas place but have other plates too. The place was ok, and it’s kinda self serve, they call your name and you go grab your food. The carnitas were good but since my dad is from Michoacán his are better. Somehow I thought the tortillas were hand made but weren’t and the chili oil salsa that they had was not the traditional.

Very good carnitas! The restaurant was very clean even the bathroom was very clean. The carnitas were hot and had great flavor. They offer an oil salsa that is good. You get all your condiments from a cart that has everything you would want. Definitely go give this place a try!!

The food is so good and the tortillas are made fresh too. Everything I’ve had there has been delicious! The carnitas are juicy and tasty, the chicharrones in salsa roja are next level good and the cabeza is great!

Let me tell you something… my grandpa is well known in my family to mean really good carnitas but even HE had to admit that this place is REALLY FREAKING DELICIOUS!!!
I ordered a pound of carnitas to take home for my grandpa and I. We both ate 5 tacos each and STILL had enough carnitas to last us another meal.
The dish came with limes, three types of salsas with one of them being a guacamole type and one made of chipilin chili with oil. It also had some sort of cabbage tomato, onions thing which I’m personally not a fan (I prefer only cilantro and onions only added on to my tacos) and of course, it came with tortillas. Like a good stack.
I’m pretty sure (about 80%) that the tortillas are hand made. They have a taste and smell that says hand made but don’t count me on it. STILL perfectly made and cooked to perfection.
This little hidden gem should be a lot more busy than it was at 1pm but my guess is because people don’t know how delicious this place is.
Now if you’ve never really had carnitas, there is two camps. The Mixta, which is carnitas mixed with the fattier, juicer portion of the pork. Then there is Carnitas Only which like its name, means only the meat.
Personally I like just the Carnitas Only but I did ask to get the crispier bits of the meat because I (again personal choice) like a little crunchiness to my carnitas.
Over all I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place. They even have a drive through window that is meant for pick up only.

Great place with great food carnitas taste fresh , got me a burrito today the amount of good tasting carnitas in a burrito was awesome . Lots of parking space. Around 15 tables clean restrooms para wheel chair acces . I usually do three stars when I like something and 4 stars when the place is outstanding for its prices 🙂 good affordable gourmet food :))

Alright everyone … this place will be a gem of Tucson soon. At first the place looked sterile… but the service made it comfortable. Then the food came out… and OMg..
This will become a norm. Largest quesabirria I’ve had in a long time so worth the money. And the carnitas..
doood… I was speechless. Gotta try it and I recommend that red sauce. It’s spicy as heck but tolerable that it doesn’t stick to your mouth.
My only suggestion is to make it look more authentic in the restaurant itself.
Kudos to whomever is making that food in the back.

Everything is great, I like la yoga too but I think this place beats them, only reason I dont give 5 stars is because everytime I go and ask for extra tortillas the lady at the register always gives me attitude for some reason. Like im paying for them im not asking for free tortillas, I have four kids so yea I need the extra tortillas, if it wasnt for the attitude I’d give 5 stars, other than that this place is really good

We live five minutes from this place, and pass it all the time saying we need to try it and today was the day, I didn’t want to cook dinner due to just getting back into town from vacation and I’m glad this was our first pick! It was absolutely delicious and we definitely will go back. It’s hard to find decent and reasonably good prices on Mexican food these days. 2 lbs fed our family of 5.
