We came to Jashan on the snow day and they were so kind and accommodating! G was our server, and he was fabulous in his explanation of the dishes. The bottomless mimosas that you can get along with the lunch special are such a deal! The atmosphere is lovely and the restaurant is in such a great part of town.

I recently dined at Jasan Restaurant and overall had a positive experience. The main course dishes were excellent — flavorful, well-prepared, and served at the right temperature. The service was also commendable; the staff were attentive, courteous, and ensured that our dining experience was comfortable. The interior of the restaurant is quite appealing, with a clean, design that creates a pleasant dining atmosphere.
However, I found the starters to be somewhat disappointing compared to the main course, as they lacked the same level of flavor and presentation. Another aspect that could be improved is the location of the restroom — it is placed in the middle of the restaurant, directly in front of the dining area. This setup feels inconvenient and slightly detracts from the otherwise welcoming ambiance.
Despite these minor issues, Jasan Restaurant offers good food, excellent service, and a beautiful interior.

We were traveling from New Jersey to Nashville, TN, and stopped at Jashan for dinner based on the good reviews and attractive photos of the ambiance.
Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait around 10 minutes to be seated. Once we were at our table, we were served complimentary papad with chutneys, which was a nice touch.
For appetizers, we ordered the Bao Bun with spiced potato and the Pomegranate Bhel. For the main course, we went with Veg. Kolhapuri and Dal Makhani, accompanied by butter garlic naan. We also ordered Sweet and Mango Lassi with our meal.
While the ambiance was lovely and the presentation was nice, we found the food to be underwhelming. The flavors didn’t quite hit the mark compared to other Indian restaurants we’ve tried, it felt like something was missing. However, the Lassis were excellent and definitely the highlight of our meal.
Overall, this might be a good spot for locals looking for a nice setting, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a must-visit for travelers seeking authentic Indian flavors.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. We had to wait a little bit but the vibes were nice and the service was great. Well worth the wait. Would definitely recommend and go again.

My wife and I snagged a reservation for Valentine’s Day. We have eaten a LOT of Indian across the US and abroad and we both felt like Jashan was the best either of us have ever had. We live two hours away and are seriously talking about driving back up this weekend just to eat there again. 10/10: No Notes!

Gajar Halwa is a true delight for the palate ,creamy yet light, perfect for lovers of low-sugar desserts. The Chicken Tikka Masala never disappoints, and each dish is a burst of flavor that will make you want to come back for more. This place is absolutely amazing the best I’ve found in all of Nashville.

Visited Jashan for lunch on June 21st with four of my closest friends — we all flew in from different parts of the U.S. (Georgia, Alabama, and Texas), and after a good amount of searching, we picked this place. Honestly, we’re so glad we did!
We tried both the Veg Thali and Non-Veg Thali, and ordered cocktails like Aam Aadmi, Gulabo, and Rangeela. The food was outstanding — everything on the thali was packed with flavor. The Malai Methi Matar, chicken pasta, and appetizers were especially memorable. Rangeela quickly became everyone’s favorite cocktail, and the Gulab Jamun at the end was the perfect sweet finish — warm, soft, and just melt-in-your-mouth good.
One small suggestion: it would be great if raita was included with the thali. We were a bit surprised to be charged $4 for a small portion, especially since it’s such a common complement to the meal.
The ambience was lovely — cozy and vibrant — and the Tollywood playlist in the background really elevated the mood. It brought back memories and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

My husband and I went out for lunch here. Our waitress was AMAZING. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The food was the best food we’ve had in awhile!! The lunch menu is INSANE! So much food that is quality and authentic and worth every penny!

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was amazing! The 65 shrimp tacos are amazing! You get 2 on the appetizer menu. So full of flavor. Highly recommend . The mango lassi was very refreshing. We will definitely be back.

Foods were full of flavors and the ambience was hole in the wall. Flavors reminds me of home. Had perfectly cooked pulao after ages. Ordered tandoori chicken, dal makhani, butter naan, pulao, mango lassi and spiced black tea. The tea was out of the world refreshing. Compliments to the amazing chef!
