We began with an order of focaccia and a wonderful little olive tampanod came with. Then a lovely house salad that was delicious and perfectly dressed. We ordered three pastas. Two of them were to die for. The Spaghetti, Caviar, Chives, White Truffle Sauce was delicious! The Seared Foie Gras, Spaghetti, Foie Gras Sauce was also to die for! The Duck Confit, Pappardelle, Duck Ragout was lovely, and we actually took it home to enjoy for lunch the next day. The tiramisu was watery and would not recommend. I should have asked if it was traditional. It was served in a parfait cup and the only disappointment. Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for it’s homemade pastas! Will definitely be back! So so good!

We came in for restaurant week and it was our first time here. My favorite was the butternut squash tortellini with brown butter sage sauce- it was rich, buttery and well balanced.
I had the cacio pepe as my entree- it was my first time trying the dish so not sure how to compare it. It was also rich, not overly peppery, but definitely was full after a few bites- come on an empty stomach!
The creme brûlée had some lemon flavor which went well with the berries. Overall pleasant experience. Will need to try their red sauce pastas next time!

I tried the pasta with truffle sauce and caviar, and it was absolutely outstanding. The sauce was incredibly smooth and rich. One of the best pastas I’ve ever had. I highly recommend everyone to try it.

Good lord, I was hesitant to write this review, because I honestly want to keep this place in my back pocket for a hidden gem. However they have blown my expectations out of the water. It’s a little pricier than I usually like, buut everything from the service to the food to the atmosphere were sooo so good. The food was literally next level compared to anywhere else, there was no wait on a Friday night and the speed of service was borderline too quick. I ordered sipped my drink a bit and the food was here very quickly. The level of service is rare to find anywhere in the city but the bartender and servers are so on point with everything, I feel as if it should be a little more pricey for what we received, the food was so good and the drinks are to die for. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good date night, a night out with friends, or any event you have. Please try this place.

A convenient location in Fulton Market with home made pasta. We had the bolognese and the truffle and corn ravioli both of which were excellent and plates were clean when we finished. We started with the bread served with the olive tapenade and I would love to get that stuff in a jar. We finished with a pear ‘tart’ which was more like a cake which we actually preferred. Go there and order pasta.

Food, service, ambiance, all 11/10 at this spot. Authentic quality pasta in west loop and such a beautiful interior and patio. The seafood pasta and cacio e pepe were delicious and the burrata and homemade focaccia are must orders, along with the sea bass ceviche! Will definitely be back this summer.

We had a nice time at Pasta Veneta! The menu had a good variety of options, and we especially liked the burrata — super fresh and creamy. We tried two different pasta dishes, and both were solid, with the truffle gnocchi standing out as our favorite. The red wine blend paired really well with the meal. Overall, a good spot for a relaxed dinner with some tasty Italian bites.

We went to this place for a team dinner. Many said the food was fresh, even they claim they make pasta everyday fresh, I didn’t find the food was so good but most in our group liked the food. Service wise it’s the worst part. Their motive is not serving the customers just milking money. Let me explain what happened when we ordered dessert. We finished our dinner and only few wanted to go for dessert . We were sitting in two groups. When we asked to give few desserts for us to share, they kept sending. For a group of 6 they sent 10 desserts. Same with other group. When you are in a group people wouldn’t realize until they receive the check. They used this as cheep trick. We didn’t even finish the desserts. However good the food may be their motive is just making money.

Pastaventa offers delicious and authentic Italian food in a vibrant Italian dining setting. We dined on their pretty outdoor patio. Pastaveneta bakes fresh bread each morning so we ordered the bread service with olive tapenade. The bread was perfectly light with a crisp crust. The pear salad was fresh and delicious. Artisan pasta is made daily. My favorite was the cacio e Pepe. It was perfectly cheesy and peppery. The only thing that was very disappointing was the desert. We wanted their popular pear dessert but they were all out if it. Our server said their apple tart was similar so he brought that out for us. It was a tinniest slice of apple tart that was really dry and had no flavor. Then they charged us $18 for this slice. We thought I was being punked! Other than the dessert I would recommend coming here for a nice pasta dish.

I had a great evening trying out a good portion of the offerings at Pasta Veneta. The drinks were great, and the service was fantastic. I definitely recommend the croquettes and the baked goat cheese to start. I ordered the gnocchi with short rib ragu and was blown away! I don’t normally enjoy gnocchi, but something told me I’d like this one. I tried my friend’s dishes as well, and can easily say the carbonara is the best I’ve ever tasted. We shared four wonderful desserts, but the chef brought over a tray of miniature cookies and macaroons to finish. I would definitely recommend Pasta Veneta!!
