Visited couple weeks ago, ordered an appetizer and the entree specials of the day. Absolutely delicious and authentic. I had the eggplant pasta dish and it was divine. The shop is run by an Italian couple and they were very nice people.

Absolutely stupendous I loved their Grilled Chicken Pesto Panini it was the exact thing i needed to envelope my taste buds after some munchies. and a side of fries with some ketchup and mayo to wash it down with some sweet and salty goodness and quench my thirst with a cold fanta.

Fresh Italian food — handcrafted lasanga, pastas, arancini, meatballs, panini, salads and tiramisu. Their tag is Old-school comfort, made modern.
The owner was very friendly. There several combo meals and every day there is a pasta special.
We throughly enjoyed our meal and will come back

Nonna snack: 3 Cheese Arancini , 3 Traditional Meatballs. side Tomato Sauce and a drink

I had the caprese salad with chicken and balsamic. It was fresh and delicious, perfect for a healthy, mid-day lunch.

Updated: under new management- food is amazing/delicious. Fresh, clean.. absolutely loved it. Warmed dipping marinara sauce! Lol big plus.. didn’t get pics of new food, but it was all great. New menu pic up tho.

Food was bland. They ran out of spaghetti. Took quite a while for it, so was expecting better. Pasta was stuck together in clumps.. given that there were only a few people in the entire place I would have expected higher quality. Prices aren’t bad.. worker was nice. Garlic bread was bland, not nearly enough garlic..

This is not authentic Italian food. Don’t get your hopes up! I was really exited and hungry when I placed my order.
The staff (one chef that looked like he knows what he’s doing and a young girl) served my food.
The arancini were okay but didn’t had any flavor (I had them in Italy. Even just cheese had more flavor). The ragu/bolo was terrible to the point where I gave it back and said that something is not right with the sauce. I got a “I’ll tell them” from the girl and I left…hungry..

I’ve had Cacio e Pepe in Rome and this was as close to authentic as I have found in the DC area! Pasta Pitstop is awesome! From the pesto mushroom ravioli to the tiramisu, you won’t be disappointed!

Spent close to 40 for 2 people for the food to come out luke warm and rubbery so clearly microwaved then tossed in oven for a minute or so. Portions were terribly small for the price better off going elsewhere.
