Social Profile:

Welcome to Pascal & Sabine – honoring the simple delights of the European brasserie, where good food, warm drink, and friends (old & new) come together to create a rich sensory experience of unbridled exuberance. Taking cues from Albert Lamorisse’s signature work, The Red Balloon, Pascal & Sabine embraces the flight of fancy and ephemeral nature of an inflated balloon, adding its own unique touch of playfulness within its doors. Featuring cave-like banquettes and the highly-regarded artwork of Paolo Ventura, Pascal & Sabine is a string to hold onto, pulling you above the day-to-day monotony of the world.

Original craft cocktails & French comfort food presented in a modern brasserie with a cool vibe.

The service truly made this place unforgettable! Our server knew exactly what to suggest, sharing a little story for each dish along with perfect pairings. I was thoroughly impressed with their cocktails, mussels, and the French onion soup. The escargots didn’t wow me as much, as I’ve had nicer versions elsewhere, yet the outstanding service made us want to turn this into our regular date-night spot!

I took my four-year-old daughter to Pascal & Sabine, knowing it’s a high-end restaurant, and I’ll admit I was a little nervous about how it might go. She’s very respectful, but I wasn’t sure how the staff would feel about having a young child there. From the moment we sat down, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. Our waitress was beyond friendly, and even other staff members stopped by our table to say hello and compliment her—it truly made the evening special. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the entire experience was flawless. We had such a wonderful evening. No complaints at all—can’t wait to go back

We dined here on New Year’s Eve and were disappointed with my husband’s steak. It was extremely tough, especially for a $68 dish, and only one bite was taken. My husband is not one to complain or send food back, so it was particularly disappointing that the issue wasn’t acknowledged. Given that the steak was barely touched, we would have expected the server to ask if everything was okay.

While the cocktails were excellent and our server was otherwise kind, it was frustrating to pay full price for a dish that went uneaten. We understand times are tough, but at this price point, we expected the situation to be handled differently.

We went to Pascal & Sabine to celebrate our anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect. This restaurant has been one of our longtime favorites, and once again, it did not disappoint.

Our server, Phil, was excellent — attentive, warm, and genuinely made our evening feel special. We tried a few new dishes along with our usual favorites, and everything was delicious. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, every detail was spot on.

Pascal & Sabine continues to be one of the best dining experiences around. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a great night out

Fantastic French restaurant tucked away in Asbury Park. One of our go-to places when visiting the area. Outstanding service and a great atmosphere to relax with colleagues, family, and friends.

Outstanding raw oysters from Prince Edward Island in Canada.

The tiger shrimp were fresh and meaty with a nice cocktail sauce and lemon.

The Madame Smith burger had a thick ground brisket patty and was accompanied by a pile of hand cut fries. Delicious comfort food!

The brandade croquettes had a thin crispy outer shell and a nice warm fish interior. Accompanied by a creamy/tart sauce.

The fromage du jour was a selection of four different cheeses that complemented their nice French bread.

Special thanks to Phil for sharing his knowledge and recommendations about the food and drinks, and for helping our large group out for a great dinner! Thanks to Maria for her conscientiousness and help with the food delivery and table clearing.

We’ll be returning again this Monday for our anniversary. This is our go to never fail celebration place. Steak Tartare & Moule Frites for the hubby, french onion and pot de creme changing up the entree!~ The wines are always delectable, the service impeccable, the atmosphere intimate and romantic. We always recommend this place to anyone looking for a dining EXPERIENCE!

The service made this place an unforgettable gem ! Our waitress knew what to recommend, had a backstory behind each dish and a pairing to go with! I was very impressed with their cocktails, mussels and the french onion soup! Didn’t get the hype of the escargots here, had better . But the service made us want to make this a regular date night spot !!

had an absolutely wonderful experience here on a date! first off, i was really enjoying listening to the dj music walking up to the restaurant but i didn’t know it was pascal and sabine playing it until we got right in front which was a pleasant surprise. quite fortunate that we came on a friday lol. the interior is beautiful and very romantic!! waiter was very helpful with our questions about the menu and the bread here is GREAT let me just say. started with the garlic cream soup and this was a bit disappointing as it tasted like a slightly savory thicker milk, maybe it was supposed to taste exactly like heated milk idk. but we enjoyed it i guess 3.5/5. i got the coq au vin, chicken was perfectly tender and the mashed potatoes were absolutely divine, i love a ton of butter with my mashed potatoes so i was very happy to taste that they definitely did not go light on the butter. shallots were good too, but i think i just didn’t prefer the winey flavor of the chicken. people who enjoy wine must like this though! bf got the mr smith burger. BEST BURGER IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE wow i was not expecting this!! the bun was so SO SO soft, it felt like cotton candy. the burger itself was so flavorful and juicy even though it was ordered medium, but it just exploded in my mouth. phenomenal!! fries were good too but we had to ask for condiments. i will DEFINITELY be back to try the mrs smith burger.

Pascale & Sabine is the perfect restaurant for celebrating a special moment. Our experience was truly phenomenal! The food was spectacular and the ambience is just superb. Our server, Jenna, was simply outstanding and brought the entire experience to the next level. She was incredibly knowledgeable and offered great suggestions. She went above and beyond to make our celebration extremely memorable. We will continue to come back – celebration or not – to enjoy a truly special evening.

This used to be one of my favorite places to go. I would talk this place up to anyone who would listen. But unfortunately the last time I was there (for my birthday) everything was not ok.

First we took a seat at the small 6 person bar to wait for our table. Me and my Fiancé were right in the middle, the bartender was right there the whole time. Instead of servicing us she decided to talk to her friends on either side of us, who had full on drinks. Twiddled our thumbs for 20 minutes and now our tables ready! Yay. Everything was fine at first until after apps when I ordered my second drink. Our waiter decided to disappear completely and forget all about it. Our porterhouse for 2 came (which has always been insanely huge and delicious) This time however the steak was so small and chewy. My fiancé felt extremely cheated, that not only did my birthday dinner suck but now you’re messing with a man and his steak. The whole night passed us by while we were ignored by wait staff. 30 more minutes went by before we could flag down our waiter and ask for the check. At that point I said no cake no nothing let’s go this is ridiculous. Thanks Pascal & Sabine for a memorable time.
