This was our first time at Parry’s Pizza. There was a wait to get a table, approximately 40 minutes. We arrived at 5 pm on a Saturday. Once we were seated, we ordered beverages and appetizers. At the same time, our server also asked if we were ready to order our meals, which we were. Since she took our beverage order and appetizers, we asked that our pizza not come until we were finished with our appetizers and salads. Everything came at one time. We didn’t want our pizza sitting in front of us drying out as we ate our salads and appetizers. We notified our server and was told they would hold our pizza in a “hot box” until we were ready for it. We were concerned the pizza would be dry. One of our guests ordered the Italian salad and requested no tomatoes due to an allergy. When the salad arrived it was FULL of tomatoes and the server presented it by saying I am fairly confident there are no tomatoes. The salad was full of tomatoes, once we alerted them to the tomatoes we believe a manager was notified who approached our table and said, “give me back that salad so we can re-make it.” She was abrasive and rude. We waited a long time for beverage re-fills. As a ‘tap house’ we thought they would be more attentive. They weren’t. The service here is very poor, very bad. We are LGTBQ+ and felt some resistance. Although there are many Parry’s Pizza places, we will not visit another one again. Please know we were with two elderly people who had questions about the food and were discounted when they asked questions. The food is fairly good, but the service is horrible! We won’t be back to a Parry’s Pizza place regardless of location!

We had a new waiter on the top outside patio and it was obviously he just needs training and more experience. But he was friendly and trying his best. The pizza, fried pickles, hot wings and cheesecake is soooo good.

Got parrys tonight. Haven’t had it in a couple of years, and I thought I would give it another try! Do yourself a favor and don’t get them delivered… delivery does them no justice (hopefully delivery is to blame) at first look it all looked pretty good. Calzone appeared to be well cooked, wings were done nicely, and the salad looked nice as well!! After tasting everything, though, I was a little disappointed. First, the wings. They were cold… they were crispy though, and the hot teriyaki sauce was very good!! I’m sure hot they are very good!! The Italian chopped salad was decent. It is topped with some tomatoes and mozzarella. Pepperoni and salami. 1 little artichoke heart and some seasoning and croutons. It didn’t have any dressing on it or come with any on the side, and for $14, the portion size is a little disappointing. Finished with the vegetable calzone, which was also cold, unfortunately. The bread was cooked nicely, but like other reviews say, the inside is under cooked. The veggies were raw/ undercookedand the cheese was still shredded and not melted. It’s not like it melted and then solidified from cooling off. It’s like it never melted at all. 2/5 on the calzone. If I try them again, it will be in person, and hopefully, it will be better.

The pizza is good, and there are several selections for their signature pizzas. The service was excellent! Staff used warm welcoming greetings and checked regularly on what was needed during the dining experience. There are lots of signature adult beverages to choose from, too.

I wish I could ride a 3.5….wasn’t quite 4 stars. The food is always good and it’s a fun atmosphere. But, the service can be spotty. It can start off attentive and then it fades away. This has happened the last 2 times.

I consider Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse food as one of the best, for the quality of the food! However, the service is below average. Our table had 4 adults & 3 children. We figured we would split the bill 3 ways. My son & his friend were paying in cash, I was going to use my debit card. Our bill was close to $60, we explained to our server, we were paying $40 in cash & the rest on my card. When she came back with the receipt for me to sign, it was for the FULL AMOUNT, which was totally incorrect! I went to her station & pointed out what she did. She apologized & hand me back $20, again incorrect! We had given her $40, so at this point, I was beginning to feel she was trying to scam us. Because it’s not Rocket Science, also no excuse for being to busy. I’ve been a server in my past employment & I am well aware, that it’s not too difficult to keep track or be organized with your customers & what they pay! And then a week & 1/2 later, myself & a friend went to the Parry’s Pizzeria, on 56th & Wadsworth & once again, the exact same thing happened! She paid her portion in cash, and mine was placed on my card. Everyone really needs to pay attention to their receipts, whenever you have a party paying in cash & debit/credit! This also happened at another restaurant later in the week, I won’t mention the name, because it’s also a huge franchise. But this is just so unbelievable & so wrong on many levels. I mean, I get that the inflation is high right now, but come on people, we’re all feeling it! So beware customers, watch your receipts & how much you’re being charged!

$20 Mac and cheese lady and gents. A couple minor things but one big problem. I cannot prove it but I’m 99% sure this is the situation. I’ve noticed multiple times that the glasses at the bar have been chipped or broken. I spent one night drinking at Parry T and just a couple hours later, I’m throwing up blood and I’m in pain so I go to the hospital. I spent all night in the hospital throwing up blood. I’ve never been so sick.. and for the next couple days, let’s just say, the other end too. I am certain I drank glass when finishing off a drink at parry. It was their vanilla bourbon. One of our friends that goes there regularly told me that she always sees chipped glasses at the bar but didn’t really think much about it. I was so sick, I couldn’t get off the hospital FLOOR and I needed help. It wasn’t from drinking too much because I only had a couple of beers. I only started ordering take out because I enjoy their Mac and cheese when I’m not feeling good. I ordered from Grubhub and there wasn’t hardly ANY noodle or even a quarter of a chicken breast. It was $20… they used to give you more food but I’m just done with this restaurant. The bartenders are rude and ignore you and now you don’t even get a whole meal of macaroni and cheese…. For $20. Sooooo frustrating, disappointing, and my father and I will not be back.

My husband and I sat at the bar, the bartender was attentive to our beer order and came back several times to see if we needed more beer. We ordered beers, a side salad each, and 20 hot wings to share, which we have done multiple times in the past. We completely forgot to ask for our salad order to be placed first and so the salads and wings came out at the same time. In my opinion, the salad should come out first and if that is not the kitchen practice, then the server should ask if we want our salad before the meal because when they come out at the same time then we have to choose, eat the salad cold or the wings hot?

Our first time visit today. The food was very good but the service wasn’t very warm or friendly. We’ll probably go back hoping our next server will be having a better day.
