Hands down the best pretzel you will ever eat – in Eureka Springs or elsewhere. He hand makes each and every pretzel that comes out of his shop according to his own recipe, and you can taste the difference. The quirkiness of his shop is just icing on the cake – much like the amazing cream cheese icing that goes with the cinnamon and sugar pretzel nuggets that are absolutely to die for. And if you need a quick lunch, the pretzel dogs in all their iterations are fantastic! My husband and I make a point of getting multiple pretzels here every single time we visit Eureka Springs. As for the complaints that he’s rude? Show him basic respect and he’s the nicest person you’ll ever meet. Pretty simple. Don’t give him grief about only allowing six people in at a time; that’s fire code and beyond his control. He asks you to take a phone call outside? See above: fire code dictates he can only have six at a time, so don’t take up space that other customers can use. My husband and I never had the first quarrel with him, ever. Be nice, and he’ll bend over backwards for you.

Decorated completely with Mickey Mouse! So Cute! The recipes are all Robert’s own and his dough is made fresh daily. He’s originally from LA and he is “rough around the edges” which, for me, added to the charm! If you follow the rules and are nice to him, he is amazing! He told me stories, shared information, and was fun to talk to while I waited for my freshly, made-to-order pretzels! We tried the pretzel wrapped sausage, plain long pretzels, and cinnamon bites. They were all delicious! The homemade cheese sauce and homemade icing were also fantastic. You can’t beat the taste, and if you are polite and patient, Robert is awesome! You will have to wait since every item is freshly made when you order – so worth it!!!!

Make sure to read these reviews and don’t break any of his rules; I wish I would have. I spaced out and didn’t look at the no photography sign. I was screamed at, apologized profusely and was still kicked out. Was looking forward to trying the pretzel all day 🙁 he really doesn’t need to be so awful about it; people make mistakes. I would spend your money elsewhere, honestly. This really bummed me out.

Owner is a very nasty man. Today I took my daughter there for an ice cream and he kicked us out because I answered a FaceTime call. He accused me of taking pictures of him for whatever reason and mumbled a racial slur under his breath… I was mortified and did exactly as he asked and left the store. I’m not not from around her and I am not a mean person and my family didn’t deserve that especially when I’m trying to support your business and have a good day with my family. My daughter left crying because she couldn’t get ice cream. 10/10 would not recommend

Robert is a amazing conversationalist and his love for Micky mouse is obvious. The pretzel dogs are the first thing we get when arriving in Eureka springs. You have many options to choose from. Great food in a beautiful town.
