A homely little place, stopped in for dinner at 5 pm our time, 4 pm here, and the food was fresh and very tasty. Picante sauce was mild and good with the chips. Waitress could have come buy and checked on us once, but she was nice nonetheless.

5 stars for a great small town Mexican joint. Situated immediately off of Hwy 54 in Minneola and right next to a little public covered shelter with picnic tables, grass and a water hydrant (dogs) – it made for the perfect stop.
Food was great, authentic and homemade including their salsa & tortillas.
Try their fried ice cream.

We ate here on Labor day and were the only customers there. The service was amazing – the waitress was very nice, and the kids’ food was brought first and very quickly. The food was hot and it tasted great. Their homemade salsa, while very mild, was tasty. I would highly recommend this place!
They have some beautiful paintings on the wall.

The food was absolutely horrible. When I ordered it was brought to me in less than 5 minutes. Obviously microwaved, it had a funky taste but I thought it was some kind of seasoning they use. As I ate realized the food was off. No more than 2 hours I had food poisoning and in the hospital. Worst Mexican food I’ve ever eaten.

The food here is pretty good, authentic. Good variety on the menu with homemade items. Service is fast and friendly. For a small town, this place put out good service and food. You get chips and salsa, with the salsa coming in a Tupperware pour container. It is decent, not very spicy at all and could use a little more cilantro cutting as it was kinda stringy last time.

My girlfriend and I were moving from Iowa City to Albuquerque. I’m so happy our route took us through this town. Paraiso was incredibly good food at a very reasonable price. I got the enchiladas and they were top notch. The folks inside were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was prepared in less than ten minutes which is very impressive. I don’t know how often I’ll be coming through Minneola, KS again, but please give these wonderful people a shot if you find yourself in the area. I’m craving the food now from hundreds of miles away!
