Paradise Biryani Pointe

Social Profile:

The Hyderabad is all about slow-cooking, known as dum in India, much of which is done in the tandoor.. This brings out amazing flavours and textures, which when combined with the rich, perfumed flavours from the spices create one of the best cuisines in the world and it is the home of korma and biryani. Everything is cooked over charcoal not just the kebabs, but all Hyderabadi dishes. The food isn’t as showy as cuisines found in other parts of India the biryani, for example, looks quite plain, but the texture and taste is just incredible.

Counter-serve Indian chain for biryani, kebabs, curries & more, including lots of veggie options.

The food there was definitely delicious. I will return. We came in just as they opened.
The staff was attentive ( we were the only customers. )
People are sleeping on this restaurant.

We got here on a super rainy day for our team’s farewell lunch. The restaurant had just long table that was completely filled and the remaining tables were pretty much free. We were a group of 8 and got quickly seated down.

We began our hunt for the items in the buffet menu that was in the display. The menu did not have a vast choice of items and that was pretty disappointing. Being a vegetarian I wished there was veg biryani but only to find veg pulao. The items were pretty good if not exceptionally wonderful.

I put together some mini dosas, chutneys and Mysore bonda along with sambar and dhal. The dhal tasted pretty good but the bonda seemed to be made of maida and was little hard to chew.

The second time I brought naan with paneer butter masala which was good. The Gulab jamun was sweet but not the mango custard dessert. The plates weren’t getting cleared regularly and I wish there was a faster service with that. The staff seemed pretty nice but too relaxed at the same time.

Chicken vindaloo was flavorful. My wife enjoyed her veggie dish. Waiter was super nice. The mango drinks were delicious. We really enjoyed our meals.

There are two types of Indian restaurants. One is Indian food for desi people and other serves Indian food for all others. This place is the former. You can find authentic spicy South Indian food. My fav is gobhi 65. That’s spiced up cauliflower. I highly recommend it as an app.

DAMN LEFTOVER’S

I had the worst taste of lamb biryani here. The biryani was for sure LEFTOVER(must be two days old) and rise was half boiled and crunchy. On questioning the staff about this, they got us other plate of biryani(which was the same) & told us chef was newly appointed & over heated the food. I will never ever visit and suggest this restaurant again.

We ate dinner at the place. It is now named Hyderabad. The service was quick and friendly. Food did not taste as good as in the yesteryears. Atmosphere is somewhat depressing with low light and dark wall paint.

Tried to call the number displayed in google maps but no one picked. Went there and ordered takeout. It was the worst biryani I ever had, chicken was just boiled and spice level was so low even though I asked for spicy version. The flavors were not great, just subpar, though the salan provided with it was fair. Won’t recommend this spot to any desi, maybe American taste palette might find the food ok/good.

The best briyani I have had in Minneapolis. The chef was happy to customise also for us. Must go place for briyani lovers.

The food was cold, and had no taste. You should employ an actual chef. I have tried Indian food before and this was by far the most disappointing food I ever had.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews. Just had lunch buffet here with my wife and it was awesome. I’m not an expert on Indian food but I have sampled many around the country and this is in the my top 10. There was a wide variety of dishes and breads to try and they were delicious. And for only 11 clams it was a bargain. My wife commented the floor was sticky. The service was fine and the food was hot and fresh.
