We typically stop on Okeechobee Road in Fort Pierce to get gas and a bite to eat on our way up north or heading down south in Florida.
I always wanted to try this place so we stopped in for the first time and ordered the famous Pappy Wheels. It was delicious, it is a rolled pizza dough with pepperoni, cheese and I am not sure what else. The owner made it fresh, it came out hot melted in our mouth. The sauce on the side was great as well.
If you are in the area you should definitely give this place a try. His prices are great and he even has a pizza lunch special for $7.00.
The owner goes by the name Fish. He was fun to talk to.

I rarely ever leave reviews but this was just pathetic. You would think a pizza place in a high traffic area would care a little more about quality. There was no shame in serving well done, dry pizza. I took a bite to see if it was as dry as it looked…..it 100% was. The only reason why it received 2 stars was because of the other 2 items (pictured).

Fish is a gentlemen and the Pappy Wheels are a must try! There are many places you can go to eat in this area and I choose to come here just for the Wheels! Authentic, real robust flavor and made fresh for your order. My daughter has allergies and fish was kind enough to check the ingredients for us. I brought home a box and my family has been ever since. Huge thanks!

Ordered the Supreme 16″ pizza. It was really good! It was freshly made while I waited. I liked that he showed it to me and was proud of the meal that he prepared. I ordered it to go, so I can’t really say much about the inside. The pizza was good and a really good value! It was really a lot of food for just over $20. I made four meals out of it.

Well the place was so hot I felt sorry for the worker! No AC I felt the Heat from outside!
Well the employee was smoking a cigar and she stand in the door entrance, when she blow the puff I was about 5 feet from the door and all that smoke blow directly in my face!
I started to cancel my order and go elsewhere!

This place is below average. False advertisement on the deep dish pizza. It is just thicker dough pizza. They lose points on that. Quality is little bit better than school lunch Friday Pizza. Atmosphere is kinda of dull when picking up. Customer service was great and friendly. Overall I would skip this place and just try other local pizzeria.

Easy to pull into and out of, and continue your commute to wherever you’re headed. Right off I95. Well worth the wait (which was only a couple minutes) for a delicious, piping hot fresh pie and you CANNOT STOP HERE WITHOUT HAVING THE PAPPY WHEELS! The marinara sauce is really delicious. The service was great. The woman who took care of us was so attentive. We just happened to bump into it and we’re so glad we did! We don’t know when we will be back in the area but we will definitely stop here. They told us that there are some great specials on the Pappy wheels on Wednesday’s too!

Quite an unassuming place. The lack of AC inside may lead you to think poorly of this eatery, but don’t be fooled. The food is very very good. Service is decent. It is basically impossible to get a bad meal here. The prices are more than fair for what you get. I’m sure you could find a better pizza place if you tried really hard, but why bother when the food is this good? Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for a good pizza.

The Good: Pizza. The pizza we had (cheese, margaritta) were pretty good. We enjoyed it, and if you take my word for it, go for a thin crust. They’re nice and crispy.
Needs improvement:
—Online ordering is very very very difficult. I couldn’t find for my life how to order a pickup in the app they endorse and offer promo code for (Slice). And then there is their website, which wouldn’t let us know what we can order and what not. I tried to add their Buffalo chicken and i couldn’t placed order. Kept refreshing and wouldn’t get through, i then though they may be out of it, then i couldn’t add a veggie in one of my pizza…not a great experince.
—Options: How can you not have chicken toping option?? Thats basic, innit? Also, every veggie topping for the same price? Thats lazy!!
Overall, good pizza but way to go. I’m a big fan of supporting local resturants over big chains, particularly for pizza, so I’ll contunue to be give Pappy’s chance and will improve my rating if they do. Cheers.
