Had a great dinner at Papi’s. They serve everything family style, which is nice because you get to try everything. The complimentary champagne and pickles were a nice touch, and the service overall was great. Really enjoyed the steaks we chose. We also got the table side Caesar salad and banana foster which were excellent.
The seats were very comfortable, and the lighting set a nice ambiance. One thing that stood out to me was that despite it being a full restaurant, the acoustics didn’t make it seem too loud and I could easily hear the conversation at our table, but didn’t really hear anything from other tables.

I recently went to Papi’s for my birthday and was blown away! The atmosphere was amazing! Love all the chandeliers and pictures, my menu was custom for my birthday! We all received complimentary sparkling rose when we sat down and there were fresh red roses displayed on each table which was a nice touch! The service was excellent, we ordered table side ceasar salad which was also excellent! My partner ordered the seafood pasta and loved it, I shared the striploin with my son and it was delicious! We also shared a double stuffed potatoe (which was huge !) and cauliflower au gratin was so good! We were too full for dessert ! I highly recommend for a celebration or if you are looking for a romantic evening with upscale atmosphere There is a dress code (men collard shirt)

Papi’s in London Ontario ended up being a really pleasant spot for my mom’s birthday brunch. The place has a comfortable feel and the staff made us feel welcome right away. They were warm, patient and genuinely kind, which set the tone for the whole visit. My mom appreciated how attentive they were without being overbearing, and that alone already made the outing feel special.
The food was very good. Everything we ordered had great flavour and was prepared with care. You can tell they pay attention to freshness and seasoning because every plate tasted balanced and enjoyable. My mom really liked her meal and said she would come back again just based on the taste alone.
The one thing that stood out to me is the portion size. The dishes looked nice and tasted great, but the servings were smaller than expected for brunch. It is not something that ruins the experience, but it is something diners should know ahead of time, especially if they come with a bigger appetite.
Even with that, the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff made the visit worth it. Papi’s is a solid option for a relaxed meal with good flavour and friendly service.

The vibes were definitely old-school Italian mafia when you walk through the butcher shop door to get into the hidden restaurant. This place reminded me of the Golden Steer in Las Vegas and I loved the personalized birthday greeting that I was able to do for my girlfriend, it blew her mind and the rest of the menu and foods were sublime. Kai, our server was impeccable. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and every detail down to the hand lotion in the bathroom and the extremely bougie toilets were luxurious. Worth the hype and worth the money.

We had the most pleasant experience celebrating my partner’s birthday at Papi’s this Sunday. The entrance was pretty cool, the place inside was beautiful and elegant, service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious.
Our server greeted us with a complimentary glass of sparkling rosé and that set the tone for the evening. They offer complimentary bread and pickled veggies.
We had the escargots & bone marrow, and shared the 22oz ribeye steak with fries. It was more than enough for 2 people.
We were too full for dessert but our server gave us complimentary chocolate chip cookies to take home.
Overall a wonderful experience. Good value for your money.

This place does have one of the best ambiance’s. If you’re doing this as a try once affair for a special occasion, and/or the novelty of tableside service then do it for that. It gets top marks for ambiance no doubt. As to the food itself, for the price? It’s just okay.. Michelin star prices for really just quite average food. We had the lobster arancini, Caesar salad (tableside), Norwich Farms 22oz med-rare w mash, squash/turnip gratin, Mac and cheese, then for dessert tableside flambe Papis coffee, with New York style cheesecake. Where do I start? The steak was cooked to a perfect med-rare. But tenderness was just average, have had better steaks.. and flavour kind of lacking. The squash/turnip gratin was FULL of rosemary flavour, it was excessive to the point it was bitter because of how much rosemary was in there that is literally all I could taste in that dish. Mac n cheese well done, top marks there creamy cheesy and clearly fresh made. Mash was good too, little on the salty side but clearly fresh as well. However at 200/ person I should hope you are getting fresh food.. really the biggest highlight probably was the Caesar salad! Tender/ slightly chewy pork belly chunks instead of bacon bits was a very nice change in that! Otherwise just your standard fresh Caesar dressing, garlicky, very nice we really enjoyed that. Deserts, cheesecake was very average.. grocery store cheesecake. Had better cheescake from the Gibraltars weekend market in the East end. One thing I will say is portions are substantial, when we went in I was instantly thinking it’s going to be Michelin star portions (2 bite entrees haha) but were at least surprised that it was more than enough food for us. Good on them for that. Final damage 550+ w tax.. yeah I can’t say it was all bad.. but I would not be back based on the fact the food was just really average (for this price point). The gratin bitter with rosemary really was a bad time.. but definitely sure to impress your woman w the ambiance.

I cannot gush enough about this restaurant! The food is to die for, the attention to details, and the personal touches made my evening a Papi’s a 10/10. Would highly recommend this restaurant for a upscale dinning experience with a beautiful array of eats. Definitely make this your next steak house stop. Please be advised it is fine dining and therefor comes with the a price tag. Be prepared to spend upward of 250-300$ if getting cocktails with your meal. Definitely worth the price for such a memorable experience and delicious food. For food, I recommend the oysters, bone marrow, and the cauliflower gratin. All of them knock my socks off. And a special thank you to out delightful server Bryn. Who truly made the evening special. She made sure we were never out of drinks and that our food arrived at the perfect time for each course. We never felt rushed or like we were waiting. Thank you for a fabulous birthday dinner!

What an incredible experience. We received a text the day of the reservation to ask if there was any special occasion for why we were dining there. They ended up personalizing our menu based on what we said was the special occasion which was a beautiful personal touch.
We arrived at the Kellogg’s building and went to Mona’s butcher shop. The employee working went through an overview of the various types of meats they offer including Waygu and Japanese steak. We then entered the freezer door to get to this exquisite speakeasy.
The service was incredible, prompt and our server answered all our questions and was very easy to talk to. They even gave me a stool for my purse to ensure it was not on the floor. Music was a bit all over the place from rap to Elvis but it wasn’t too loud. There was a gorgeous piano I wish there was live music playing but either way, you felt very special to be in that space.
Food came out very quickly and was by far the best steak we have ever had. I love the family style where you can share with who you are with. Everything from the dining area to bathroom were so well designed and very high class. It’s a nice change for London and the chefs clearly know what they are doing regarding prepping the food. Best bone marrow I’ve ever had. The shrimp accompaniment was delicious. Marrow gravy was delicious on the potatoes and the steak- cooked perfect. Medium rare as it should be. The quality was impeccable. The food was delicious.
Eager to try brunch/ lunch next which they offer on weekends. Prices are high for dinner but worth it.
This is by far the most fine dining restaurant in London Ontario.

This was an entire experience!
From the moment we arrived everyone was so nice and welcoming. An absolutely beautiful dining experience. The crystal chandeliers were mesmerizing!
Jesse was an amazing server and joined us in our banter. So many laughs! We ordered plenty of drinks and he definitely was on his toes with us!
John made our amazing Caesar salad in front of us. Then came back to make our banana flambé. AND then he made our baileys coffee. So delicious and what a show making it! We also enjoyed a few expresso martini.
The tomahawk steak was something we’ve always wanted to try and absolutely perfect.
We will go back for sure. Not too soon! A little pricey. But like I said. It’s not just a meal. It’s an experience!
PS! Use the bathroom. It’s pretty great! 🙂
