We have loved Papi Chulo’s both times we’ve ordered via Grubhub so that speaks volumes bc delivery can be hard to get quality food.
Love their birria tacos so much! Lots of filling and flavorful. The consome is delicious, this last time a little lacking in flavor but still really good. My son loves the Papi’s burrito and their queso is really good as well. Highly recommend!!

Not impressed by the food at all, and it was pretty costly. I ordered nachos and the crunch wrap. Both were not tasty and not worth the price. Very disappointed if I was you, I would stick to the basics and just go with tacos.

The food was ok, the service needs to improve. The food is overpriced. Not sure why is very high on tipping, when the waiters Dont do anything, you need to grab your own water, salad etc.

I haven’t had a variety of food here. I usually or probably always go for the birria tacos, which are delicious. The salsas offered are good. The rice and beans are also delicious, but is sold separately. The service is good but not outstanding. The atmosphere isn’t particularly exciting. But that all goes to the wayside as far as I’m concerned when the food is good.

If you go around noon or in the afternoon, the place is usually almost empty—which makes it surprising that the food still takes a while to come out. I’d rate the burritos a 3 out of 5. The margaritas are pre-made, and since there’s no actual bartender, don’t expect much in that department. The food overall feels overrated; the chips were oily and lacked freshness.
The location is great, and the interior looks nice, but they really need to improve their customer service. One thing that stood out was how dusty the place is—it feels like it’s constantly in need of a good cleaning.
Overall, it has potential, but there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Burritos are always soggy, the tortillas fall apart and it feels like you are eating soup. I just took my burrito home less than a 5 minute walk, and the burrito fell apart as soon as it was unwrapped- the tortilla at the bottom was completely soggy.
It’s just a really wet and messy burrito experience.
This is pretty typical- I go back because it’s so close to me- but I may need to move on completely it’s a pretty expensive option- I could get a personal pizza next door for less than the burrito.
Edit: went back again for a cochinita burrito, Same thing happened as before so I had to finish with a fork in the restaurant. Taking it to 2 stars.

Wow! Delicious! I came with a friend when we were having some late night fun downtown and was definitely impressed. We got a rack of their Birria Tacos and man were they hot, crispy and amazing to enjoy with the consume. Planning to get back in to try a Birria Burrito as well as their other offerings. Nice south of the border beer selection to compliment the meal. If you like Birria and you like Tacos. I highly recommend it! Yummmmmm!!!

I had takeout nachos with chicken, and my companion had a burrito. Both were prepared promptly, friendly service. The chicken was nicely grilled, the vegetables on the nachos fresh and tasty. The chairs are steel, and the music was a bit loud, but fine for takeout. Photos of the nachos and burrito attached.

The place is super nice atmosphere for a dine in experience. The cashier acted as if it was going out of his way to make an order and felt unwelcoming. The Steak Burrito was ok but the amount of gristle was about every other bite. Tells me it was cheap meat and second the cheese was not even melted on the inside of it. Last it had zero flavor in seasoning. This would be my first and last visit for me. Hope you have a better experience if you plan to try it out.
