Rustic and charming this restaurant is the perfect spot for homemade pasta. The homemade spaghetti had a perfect bite and texture. The ravioli had a silky smooth ricotta that melted in your mouth. This is just like Nonna’s house and you won’t be hungry when you leave.

Was excited to find a family owned Italian place near me. The waitstaff seemed like they were the owners grandsons. The young man who waited on us was very nice. The wait from when we sat down to when we got food was over an hour. I would love to say the food was worth the wait, but it was not. Other people came in after us who seemed like they knew the owner and got their food right away. I ordered chicken parmigiana and the chicken was thick and chewy not a thin cutlet. The pasta was homemade and not bad but the sauce was not very good and tasted burnt. The pasta wasn’t drained so I ended up with a puddle of water on my plate.

The food needs flavor. I’ve worked in hospitality for 30 years several different types of cuisine. I love good Italian food. This is not. The sauce lacked flavor. Mostly sugar, salt and fresh herbs. The homemade pasta was perfectly cooked but lacked flavor. The Italian dressing for the salads was broken and oily. The deserts are awesome but need to be a bigger portion. We had takeout but when I went to pick it up music was way to loud. Bottom line add some salt sugar and fresh herbs and it would be fantastic.

Papa Mazzotti’s is a great mom and pop Italian restaurant hidden away in Thornton. I’ve been there several times before and it’s always very good. This was the Mama’s Italian casserole that comes with a salad or soup, and the cheesecake for dessert—also amazing.

This absolutely amazing small business is without a doubt the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Family run, family made, and family loved food! We love this place and frequent it whenever we are craving to-die for Italian food! Call ahead and make reservations as seating is tight! Definitely worth stopping in and helping this place stay in business, they 100% deserve it. All the food is fresh, hot, and served to order, great selection of wines, and some great desserts also. Appetizers are aligned with everything above, great tasting food all around. If I haven’t bragged enough about this place, go and try it for yourself and leave your own review but I know you won’t be disappointed!

A small place looks like it once was a house. Service was great and server was knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good but different than I am used to. I always base an Italian restaurant on their lasagna. Portion seemed small, but the ricotta was rich so it ended up okay.

Dined here on a Friday night. We had the scallops. Loads of olive oil but otherwise very nice dish. Service was spotty. Diners who came in after us were served first.

What a great find in a little nook of Thornton most people don’t know has some great little business’s (Lisa Ann’s great too). Home style Italian for sure with atmosphere to match. Portions are great size, service was exceptional and sure we’ll be back. The buttery Alfredo sauce was probably the favorite at our table but I hear the sausage is made locally by family so I’ll be trying that next. Salad was simple yet just the right size for a starter and the minestrone soup was light great broth again a great starter. We shared a cinnamon roll too that was pretty good. Place was great and we’ll be back for sure.

We were told on arrival there would be a wait while at our table as they were busy, which there definitely was however I appreciated the heads up so we knew what to expect. The food was so delicious and worth the wait. I had the vodka pasta and love spicy Italian sauces and that checked that box!!! We will definitely be back soon
