POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I placed an order online and got the wrong pizza. I called to talk to the manager and see if there’s a way to correct my order but a certain KURT (introduced himself as the manager and took it back) pickup the phone. I tried to explain what happened and how disappointed I am because I am coming all the way from Fairfield, he started laughing and ask me if I’ll write him a review. I decided to write him a review since he asked me and since he doesn’t sound like he knows anything about customer service at all. I ordered Pepperoni, Anchovies and Mushroom, and I got a Pepperoni, Mushroom and I don’t know the other stuff they put. Here’s a picture of teh pizza.

Let me start with the positive; the pizza was fresh and tasted pretty good. The base is fluffy and the cheese melted nicely. Unfortunately that is where it ends. I ordered the $40 NY style cheesesteak pizza + olives, what I got was a Cheese pizza with the slightest hint of meat (on some slices, not all) and no olives at all. The worst part is there was “some” meat, but it was soo miserly it was as if the restaurant wanted to stiff me…. “MORE? YOU WANT MORE?” “Please sir, I am starving!”…

I always come here when I’m in the East Bay it’s just easier for me to roll through Walnut Creek than to try to tackle the Clayton location which can add on to 30 minutes due to traffic. I’d mainly order from the app but honestly I’ve never had any issues. It comes out perfect every time. Thank you. Walnut Creek papa Johns.

What a terrible experience I had today! Papa johns was our family’s pizza place in Walnut Creek. We always order pizza on the phone and sometimes have to order super Hawaiian pizza in the store, because their specialty pizza promotion code only for in store ordering. So as usual I ordered two specialty pizzas, but this time they just can’t add stuffed crust on my orders( of course extra cost, we’re done the same thing at least 20 times) and plus they charged me two different prices and tried not give me the recipe in the end.( cause I can’t see any details when I paid). I asked and saw that receipt then found out only one order applied the promotion code. I went back ask why is that, they told me it’s limit one order at a time?! But why didn’t you tell me at the beginning? I had your flyer on hand and ordered two specialty pizzas with the price on there! Then you just decided give me another price! ? What a joke!

I’ve probably ordered here about 50 times over the years and the pizza and brownies have consistently been great. There was a glitch in my order yesterday and it was quickly rectified. I always feel that the sign of a great franchise is how they treat customers when there is an issue. The team did a superior job of keeping me happy.

This is our go to location for affordable take out pizza. The staff is friendly, and the pizza is consistent. The website often has good promotions for 2 large specialty pizzas for carry out. Garden Fresh is our family favorite, and we may be slightly addicted to the little chocolate chip cookie pizza. It’s not homemade, but we find it to be a quick, tasty, and affordable meal.

I just tried Papa John’s pizza for the first time and wow I was not disappointed. I stopped in after work orded 2 large pies and they took about 10 minutes and were ready. The bbq chicken and bacon was the family favorite. It was loaded with cheese. I will order from here from now on, pizza s were even hot when I made it home Staff was very friendly too!

Pizza was cold once I got it. Asked for contactless delivery and driver called and said meet him at street. Order was placed and said 33 minutes until delivery. 1 hour and 20 minutes later I was on sidewalk waiting for my pizza. Will not order from this place again. Very disappointed. Especially in these times of contactless delivery.
