I was browsing through Uber eats and I just so happened to see a promo for Papa John’s & its *New* New York style pizza (which was confusing to me because Papa John’s is a New York chain that serves triangle slices.) It peeked my interest so I decided to try it out. I threw in a parmesan crusted Philly steak Papadias for the heck of it.

I came in yesterday and placed an order for carryout which was two pizzas and my total was $47.39 (which is crazy) and had an emergency and wasn’t able to come back and pick it up. I called them and told them this and the lady working said there was no manager on duty and she’d tell the one working tomorrow to void it. I called back today and asked for the manager who coincidentally happened to be the lady from last night and she said she couldn’t void the order because she had nothing to do with me not being able to come get it. She didn’t even offer me a gift card or anything so i’m out of almost $50 for no reason.

I order a Hawaiian pizza with cheese crust and crushed red pepper and cheese. Upon arrival the staff had a rude attitude and charge me extra for crush red pepper and cheese. Stephanie and Anaya where so unprofessional and definitely will not come back to this place. Rude attitude and no costumer service.

I order a garlic parmesan crust pizza with three cheeses and just received a plain cheese pizza. By the time I got home and realized it was incorrect (they were closed). I had to call the next day which is today. Just spoke to a manager and apparently I have to call later and speak to another manager who worked the night shift. For the second time I went in, I spoke to a rude unprofessional cashier (who seem like she had an attitude). I understand that it’s fast food and it can be hard, hell, I use to work fast food. That doesn’t give you the reason to act any old way. I would recommend another location just to show the workers and the managers who work here to do better. FYP, it’s best to file a complaint on the website so corporate can fathom what’s going on in their restaurants.

I placed an order for delivery, the order was incorrect so I called and the manager said I can come in and get the correct order and she was gonna write down my name. I called the following day and spoke to a manager about my situation she said my order would be ready in 40 mins. When I arrived the manager who is an older white lady said your order is not ready, it will be another 20 mins. I said ok and waited. After 20 mins I asked the manager if my order was ready she said the girl that took it over the phone did not put it in the system. So she went to the computer and started typing and then picked up a box off the floor, then took a piece of dough out of the bend and started preparing it. I asked was it mine? She said yes. I told her she didn’t wash her hands first. She asked me if I wanted it or not with an attitude?

I placed an order in person extremely earlier enough before my delivery time Tuesday of this week. I noticed the restaurant was already short staffed. The lady who took my order was nice , she was working alone . I came in about 1240 my order was set to be delivered to me at 430. I had to call to find out where the driver was when my food wasn’t there at 430 . I spoke to a woman and she said it’s on its way in ten minutes. By 510 it was still not there I ordered a few sets of wings and cheesy bread for my students celebration. The other restaurant I ordered from delivered my first set of food one time no issues . I had to wait nearly 40 minutes late for Papa John’s. The woman apologized and told me a larger order that was unexpected came in before mine .I was confused at how that impacted my order and I placed it earlier and it was different staff there. When a customer calls to check on an order especially when it’s late it should never feel deceiving to find out if it will be there or not on time .I would have picked it up myself if I knew the tardiness would happen but I was not able to because I needed to remain at work. The woman in the phone apologized but that wasn’t enough she offer a 25 discount for next time however she should have refunded my cost to an extend . I may not order again here . It’s so important to get delivers out on time and not make other customers suffer . I honestly would have never ordered from here if I knew they would messy up the delivery time , my students deserved better .
