So, heads up: they don’t deliver their own pizzas. Instead they use doordash, and while SOME dashers are awesome and fast and super good at their job… not all of them are. By getting rid of delivery from the actual place you pretty much make it impossible for any accountability. So: very good food, but if you want to actually eat it hot (or, sometimes, AT ALL) you gotta gotta gotta do the carry out service.

We gave them a try after them reopening on my son’s suggestion, and it will be the only time we visit. The pizza was worse than frozen and looked old, plus the filling for the Parmesan crusted cheesesteak papadia was barely there and definitely not worth the almost $10 I paid for it.
My husband and son wouldn’t eat more than a couple of bites, and my son actually tossed the Papadia after stating there was an odd aftertaste to it.
I was really hoping we had a new pizza spot to frequent as it’s on my kids way home from work and easy to grab, but I think we’ll just continue with our Mancinos’s pizza visits.

My sister had my girls for the night. This was their 1st time getting Papa John’s.
They absolutely loved it. My oldest prefers non traditional pizza sauce. They were excited to see the wide variety of alternative sauces like: Alfredo, ranch, BBQ and more.

Do yourself a favor and go to Marcos instead. This place is by far the worst pizza spot I’ve ever had. I’m not kidding when I say that frozen pizza tasted better. Nothing had flavor! And on top of that they want to charge .25 cents each for parmesan and red pepper flake packets when I already paid 18 bucks for the pizza. Shame on them. Do not come here!!!!

Did an online order for pickup. Once I got home, noticed I got the wrong pizza. Called in and the guy quickly acknowledged it. Was offered a refund or to pick up a new one. I didn’t want to drive back so asked for the refund. A week later, no refund has been issued. Won’t be coming back.

I’m so excited that a Papa Johns finally opened in Ypsilanti! I’ve been waiting for this for years — before this location opened, I had to drive half an hour just to get my fix. Now that they’re close by, I’ve already been there at least 12 times in the past three months, and every visit has been awesome. The pizza is always fresh, hot, and delicious — exactly what you’d hope for.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the amazing service. The manager, Asia, and a team member named Dan are always super friendly and welcoming. They really go out of their way to make you feel appreciated, which keeps me coming back just as much as the pizza does.
I’m not sure if this spot is corporate or a franchise, but whatever the case, they’re doing everything right. If you’re in Ypsi and craving pizza, this Papa Johns is the place to go!
