When my husband called the store to understand why the order was being returned, they claimed they would remake the pizza and send out a fresh one. That was a lie. They delivered the original, unsealed, cold pizza—the same one that had already been transported around, exchanged hands, and sat in a vehicle. Completely unacceptable and a clear health concern.
When my husband called back to report that the pizza was cold and unsealed, the store claimed their “system” wouldn’t allow them to cancel or correct the order. He then contacted Papa John’s customer service, who called the store directly. The store told customer service they had delivered a fresh pizza—while my husband was still on the line and could hear the staff asking the driver why he didn’t deliver the fresh pizza that was visibly still sitting there.
This is not just poor service. It’s unethical, unsafe, and reckless. Food safety protocols were ignored, and the store attempted to cover it up with lies.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION.
We will be reporting this to the health department.
When I arrived, they had only prepared 10 pizzas. I ended up waiting another 45 minutes for the rest. When I asked about the delay, the staff told me it was because I placed multiple orders—something their own app requires. He even told me I could cancel the order if I wanted.
I dropped off the first 10 pizzas so the kids could start eating and returned to pick up the remaining order, only to find that they had cancelled it, assuming I didn’t want it anymore. To “compensate,” they made 10 medium pizzas for free, but that still wasn’t enough for the group. I ultimately had to order the remaining pizzas from Domino’s to make sure the kids were fed.
This entire experience was extremely unprofessional, stressful, and disappointing—especially for a time-sensitive event involving children. I hope this location seriously improves their order management and customer service. I will not be placing large orders here again.
My order was marked “Ready for Pickup,” but I still had to wait about 15 minutes, and the pizza was later found on the delivery shelf after being told twice that it wasn’t there.
Unfortunately, when I opened the box, the order was completely wrong, so I had to drive back to the store. When I spoke to the manager, Errol, there was no apology or explanation, and the communication was very unprofessional.
Mistakes can happen, especially during busy times, but the way this situation was handled made me feel disrespected as a customer. I hope Papa John’s will review this incident and improve training and service at this location. I would like to continue being a Papa John’s customer, but better customer care is needed here.
Their service has been terrible, inaccurate orders have been delivered to us, and the pizza itself has been cold and looks as if someone played frisbee with it!
My order today was delivered late, with the Dasher taking 5 literal minutes to grab our order out of the trunk of their mid-sized SUV. Once the Dasher retrieved our order from their trunk, they remained at their vehicle and asked for either myself or son to come and get our order from them.
Papa John’s, this is coming from what has been a loyal customer; please do better! After the last three orders, we have received perceived discounts which are unredeemable at checkout. All we wish is to receive the order that we’ve placed, fresh, hot, and on time.
I know its bad when my kids can spot the issue!
