We went to the Olive Garden in College Station. The restaurant was clean, and we were immediately greeted by staff. There was a 10-minute wait. That was not bad for a restaurant at noon. They had plenty of seats in their front waiting area for guests. Once seated, the staff was very pleasant and helpful. They brought our drinks and bread quickly. Then the salad and soup. I had the lunch chicken parmesan with spaghetti and meat sauce and a meatball. My wife had the lunch lasagna. The food was hot and tasty. The staff checked on us several times throughout the meal and were always very polite. The food was not overpriced, and we enjoyed the lunch. I would definitely go back.

One of the best Olive Gardens I have eaten at in a while. The server was very respectful and polite. The food was excellent, especially the soup, it had plenty of meat and dough balls and it was creamy, usually it has been watery at other restaurants. I had the chicken scampi. It was really good, plenty of veggies and sauce.

My most recent visit here was pleasant. We had a super awesome waitress and the food was hot and delicious. She kept us refilled and seemed attentive even though they were extremely busy. However the food cost continues to increase and likely will become too expensive to be worth it.

We have loved this Olive Garden for years and will keep coming, but this was a bizarre experience tonight. Our waitress took our drink orders and food orders at the same time and got us our drinks. Our food took an unusually long time and someone else delivered it. We never saw her again for the rest of our time in the restaurant (20-30 minutes). Two of us had ordered unlimited soup and salad, and they were never refilled. Our drinks were never refilled either except by a passing manager for one person. We kept trying to flag her down and she ignored us and multiple other tables. We paid the ticket and finally got her to stop, asking for our to-go entree and saying it’s been 20 minutes since we were last served. She claimed she was our waitress’s identical twin sister and not our waitress but she would get the entree for us. When she came back we checked her name-tag (Leidy) and it matched the name on our receipt for our server (Leidy G.), and she ran off immediately. On our way out we asked the hostess if any waitresses were identical twins and she laughed and said no. We were shocked this waitress lied so quickly and brazenly, to cover up the fact she had completely abandoned us after taking our orders. This place definitely needs corporate level interventions.
