Had a nice size group go in. Food was decent. The portions are HUGE. So keep that in mind when eating bere.
Honestly service really ruined the overall experience. We had to get up to beg for drinks etc and refills.
They didnt know anything behind the bar. They didnt have whip cream for the bj shot. She said she wasnt sure what else to make instead..most bartenders at least have a better hold on suggestions or ideas.

My husband and I are from out of town and came here for some dinner and we had such an amazing experience, and Karissa truly made our night! From the moment we sat down, she was so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She knew the menu really well and gave great recommendations that we ended up loving. Our drinks were always refilled, everything came out perfectly timed, and she checked in just the right amount without being overbearing!!

I must say, a sports bar in the early afternoon, on a weekday, is odd place.
There were a few occupied tables and a gent at the bar talking with the lone staff member visible.
Service was …. straightforward. Got a menu, placed my order. Asked for water, only bottled available. In a bar? Ended up with a bottle of root beer.
Other than taking the orders & delivering it, she was uninvolved, preferring to play a dice game with the gent at the bar.
As is my standard with new places that offer them, I went with a Cuban. Side of fries, too.
It’s a really good sandwich. Not a Cuban, but the slow-roasted pork was juicy & delicious and a lot of it. In fact, it owned it, shoving the ham & Swiss cheese into the background, the pickle just a crunch. The ciabatta was good but again, not traditional for a Cuban. And it wasn’t pressed.
Fries were great. Hot, unsalted, big.

I had a great experience at Wheat N Rye thanks to Karissa’s excellent service. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right throughout my visit. She checked in at the perfect times without being overbearing and had such a positive attitude that it made the whole meal more enjoyable. It’s clear she really cares about her customers. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We are from out of town and visited this establishment as we make monthly trips to Michigan and have somehow never been here, our waitress was amazing(Candy). She made this our favorite place and our now go to monthly stop when we are in town! What wasn’t perfect she made sure to make it wonderful…the best. We are all still talking about going back. Looking forward to our next trip. I wish more establishments kept waitresses that truly enjoy their job and care about the customer experience. She is definitely an atmosphere all on her own. We love her.

We grabbed lunch before a family member’s flight. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, so it was pretty chill. I can totally see this place being awesome later on—it’s a sports bar with a pool table. We really liked the food—huge portions of corned beef on pumpernickel, good onion rings, and fries.
