Worst customer service experience ever!
I placed my order online without any issues. 20 minutes past their estimated timeframe go by and still no pizza. So I call asking for an update, I get told that their system says my order is a carryout. I let them know I have a receipt that shows its delivery with a paid delivery fee and tip, as well as the time frame. They said this happens all the time in their system and they will send it over. 30 more minutes go by and I’m delivered a single pizza. I let the driver know i ordered 3 pizzas, wings and breadsticks. He tells me to call, so I call. The manager tells me they made a mistake and sent someone else’s order. Blamed me, and said I put the wrong address in. That the numbers were in the 77s. No house exists on my street with those numbers. I tell him I have the receipt. My correct address is on it. My address is on the account. I’m just trying to feed my family and I ordered 2 hours ago. Manager keeps blaming me, telling me it’s my fault and there’s nothing they will do. They will refund me but not send food to my house. It is now past dinner time, past bedtime. I have hungry kids and am left feeling awful. It’s literally just pizza. You would think as an owner you would take ownership of a mistake and fix it. Show some integrity, right?! Nope. Blame the customer multiple times. Avoid the situation and create a bad reputation. What’s worse is they refunded the full amount, so the delivery driver. His staff didn’t get paid the tip. I never asked for a refund, just the dang pizza to feed my kids.

How is this “original crust”? I keep getting flat pizza. The pizza is tough and dry, almost cardboard-like. It tastes like a frozen pizza that was thrown in an oven and left to dry. It never used to be this way. The quality of Papa John’s has gone down recently, and here is the proof. So much for “Better Ingredients, Better Pizza”.

Manager George was very rude at this location. Ordered a steak pizza. Once the pizza was delivered opened the box and there was no steak barely on the pizza. They didn’t deliver our drink so we called them back and he answered the phone and replied back with “im the manager here I know how much I put on the pizza” just rude overall. Wasn’t trying to help. Waste of money.

Ordered 2 shakaronies and we got 2 cheese pizzas. I only figured it out until I got home. My kids were hungry so they just ate it like that.

Of the last half-dozen times I’ve gone, the order is wrong 50% of the time and the remakes are less than desirable. Shown in photo is the latest attempted remake after putting cheese on the first one accidentally – this second one has no sauce and the wrong toppings.. Not worth the headache, time, or money. The staff need better training and management, and we certainly won’t be going back. But hey, we have MOD, Domino’s, and Cryptic Pizza in the area!

I had a issue with my carryout order when I came to pick it up. My order wasn’t there. I showed the girl on my app that it was placed at this location and it said it was ready. We came to realize that the delivery driver who was working accidentally took my carryout order instead of their delivery so my order wasn’t at the store. I asked to speak to the manager and the young lady said she was the manager and she was so polite even though I expressed my frustration onto her I felt bad for taking it out on her as I saw she was by herself and busy. I can’t remember her name but it was during the afternoon on 11/1 and she had red hair. She went out of her Way to make sure my order would be made again correctly, she apologized more times I can remember and after seeing that she actually cared about my issue and didn’t give an attitude like other fast food places do she calmed me down and i was extremely happy with the outcome at the end. Very good service from her. I went back a couple hours later to apologize and she smiled and said it was her mistake and she understood why I was upset. I tried to give her a $20 tip but she denied and said she couldn’t accept my tip due to the issue being her fault and didn’t want to take it but i insisted and left it on the counter. after all I was the one who gave her a hard time over a minor mistake. mistakes happen especially in food service and I’m very sorry again to the young lady that was there. I’m hoping she will see this. Thank you!

2 out of the 3 pizzas were ok however 1 of the pizzas was not cooked all the way and it was so cheesy it was not even enjoyable to eat. Call was made to advise and the manager never once apologized for the inconvenience also went on to say they are not able to change the temperature of the oven and advised he could cook it well done. Wait what!!! Well done??? Just cook it normal not that difficult. I’ll take by business elsewhere thank you but no thank you! Darn wish I would have taken a picture of how disgusting it looked. Papa Johns used to be one of my favorites it’s a thumbs down for me at the Solomon’s Maryland location

So, this will probably be the craziest review I’ve ever written, but I’ll try to make it make sense. I had a pretty crappy experience with the online ordering. It took almost an hour just for my order to be confirmed and then another hour for me to get my food. It’s safe to say I was starting to get pretty peeved and I’m usually an easy going person. So the driver gets here with my pizza, but my donut bites are missing. I was pretty much fed up at that point, but the delivery driver, Angela, was so polite and apologetic that it was hard for me to stay mad. She put me on the phone with her manager, Aaron I think his name was. Aaron was super nice and clarified that my order had gotten mixed up on the corporate end and had to basically be deleted and redone or something like that. He was very calm and collected even though I could hear that they were busy. He gave me a few options and ultimately I asked if he could just send me the dessert whenever they could, at this point I felt guilty for being mad because of the good customer service. Only about 20 minutes went by before Angela was back at my door with the dessert and smiling and saying she was sorry for the problems. I ended up not really liking the Italian hero pizza, but I’m not faulting them for that because it was my personal preference of not really liking the sauce. However the donuts were very good! Based on customer service alone, I’ll seriously consider ordering from them again.
