The garlic sauce for the pizza makes the pizza good, and the chocolate pizza I prefer over pizza hut’s cookie pizza because there is little to no molasses in it. It tastes like a nice big regular chocolate chip cookie. (How it should be, delicious ).

Do NOT order delivery from here. They partner with DoorDash for deliveries and several times our order has taken almost 2 hours to get to us. I’ve always given the benefit of the doubt since most places are short staffed, but I ordered a pizza at 6:30p.m. and here we are at 8:00pm with no pizza still, and the tracker shows our driver going the complete opposite direction from our house. It pushed our delivery time back 30 minutes to 8:29pm too, so I’m guessing, yet again, our pizza will be ice cold when it gets here. This is ours and your sign to only order from mom and pop places!

I called the Gettysburg, PA Papa John’s and ordered a medium pizza, eight piece wings and a 2 L bottle of soda. They asked me if I wanted to place a tip, I told them I would tip six dollars. That brings my total to $30 and change. They ended up only delivering a 12 inch pizza with pepperoni and no wings. I asked the delivery driver about the missing wings and she said she would talk to her manager because they were not on the order.

I would first like to say how wonderful this papa John’s location is! Their food and service is top noch! I have never had a bad experience here. We order pizza from this location from time to time. Due to the weather we were unable to pick up our pizza this time. So we decided to have it delivered to our house. What a pleasant surprise! The pizza arrived hot and in a very timely fashion! The delivery driver (younger teen, If I recall correctly, his name was David) was extremely friendly! My wife and I could not of had a better experience with our first time getting delivery from this location! We highly recommend it!! Thank you Papa johns and David for making our family dinner night a great success!!!!!!

Last time we ordered extra sauces and extra peppers we didnt get them and we were charged for them. I called in to the manager an she said she couldn’t give my money back and that we didnt order extra stuff. She wasn’t pleasant I was angry. But now when we order we make sure we just dont buy extra stuff it’s not worth not knowing if we will get it. It’s a shame we love papa John’s. But management needs help. And they need to check their orders properly before delivery. The pizza never seems to be consistent either one day it wasn’t cooked then another time we ordered it was overly cooked. I dont get it.

We just moved to Gettysburg and never had a decent pizza place that would deliver where we used to live. Not only do they deliver great service, but the 2 times we’ve ordered their pizza, by far, has been absolutely hot and delicious! The toppings were plentiful and fresh. The value wasn’t bad either. Highly recommend.
