What is going on with Panera Bread lately? I’m paying the same price but getting smaller portions. I ordered an Asiago bagel and received something completely different. When I asked, they said portions have “recently changed.” Honestly, it’s not acceptable. I’ve been to many Panera locations before, but I was shocked at what I got today. They’re selling a half sandwich as if it’s a full one—and the half now looks more like a quarter. On top of that, the tea section was a complete mess. Very disappointing.

Food is consistent for Panera. The dine-in experience is hit or miss. Great to eat outside in the back courtyard when it’s nice, but the chairs are … worn. Inside the scent sometimes is weird, it’s a little dark, and the restrooms can be rough. The staff have always been really nice, and the convenience of ordering at the kiosks and picking up online orders to go is very convenient.

The portion sizes were very tiny. The soup I got to go was 1/3 of the small cup it was in. Baguette was rock hard.

A pretty typical location except that there seems to be an issue with the AC system because there are several portable units set up. The staff was very friendly and the food, though it took a little while, was great. There was a good selection of bakery items—this was especially nice because some locations seem to run low in the afternoon.

i usually use the drive thru bc it is more convenient on my lunch break but almost every time I go through, they mess up my order. The food is good so I don’t really say anything but is almost comical at this point.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO BETTER PANERA IN KC, even the new location opened in Lenexa at the new city center is trash compared to this one. 110% amazing love this location and love the friendly faces and smiles! Everyone’s so wonderful here, very quiet and nice in the mornings!
