A quick lunch stop for a strawberry and chicken 1/2 salad and a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a Mediterranean vegetarian sandwich. Quick walk up service, delicious orange 50% off scone and a frozen lemonade. Parking is small but soon this West Bend location will be relocating to a larger location.

Always a fan of Panera for a healthy fast casual option. This location is no different. Service was great, went there with my mother and they were very patient working through all the options. The Fuji apple salad is always the best. They’re not very cheap option, if you think about what it costs to get a full meal. We have the sip club so at least our drink was ‘free’.

Wanted a coffee had coffee in the past at other Panera breads that was good. Today was not good at all. Ordered an iced caramel mocha with oat milk, didn’t have oat so got almond… it looked and tasted like almond milk some Carmel in it. I asked about it and they said they had espresso in it, I should of just asked for something else.

The coffee was cold, I got a combination of the light and dark house brew, and it came out of the carafes barely warm. I let the counter person know, but she was busy with the lunch crowd. She thanked me and asked which ones were cold but didn’t offer a replacement for me. Otherwise, everything was super great.

This was the 3rd order in a row that was completely wrong. I tried unsuccessfully to place my order online for pickup. I wanted 2 whole napa almond chicken salad sandwiches and I was getting a message that they were not available. I called the West Bend store and spoke to a guy who put me on hold and came back stating it was the sourdough bread causing the problem, but he fixed it so I should be able to place the order online now. I tried 2 more times, also tried refreshing before each attempt. Got the same message that it was unavailable. I went to the store and placed the order in person. They were out of sourdough bread, so I accepted white bread. I asked for no greens or tomatoes on the 2 sandwiches, but they were put on both sandwiches. I also ordered an Asian Sesame with Chicken salad (poor quality lettuce pieces) and asked for 2 extra dressings, along with baguettes for all my sides for each item. There was only 1 dressing (a sad partial container) for a whole salad and only 1 baguette with 2 bags of chips that I didn’t ask for. Prices are too high for these kinds of things to happen with every order. I empathize with busy meal times, but this was after the lunch rush and simply comes down to people not listening and paying attention to details. I’d consider the mistakes with today’s order minor compared to the two prior orders, but irritating enough to post this review. As far as I’m concerned…3 strikes and you’re out. If this level of customer service continues, you won’t have enough loyal customers left to support your new location on Paradise Drive.

At Panera they act like they are the Starbucks of salads and gourmet food. Charging full-service diner prices where is none of the hospitality or charm that a diner may have. In my opinion the management and West Bend should hold themselves to a higher standard. Their service is slow the restaurant is not very clean and people have this lackadaisical approach with not much urgency on a Thursday. At least at Starbucks they are almost always friendly and the place is clean and they move you along even if you’re paying $50 for a cup of coffee. I expect the same from Panera.

To the manager, your customer service was absolutely despicable! You were so rude and treated your customers just as awful as your staff. Nobody deserved to be treated so poorly and I feel bad for your very kind staff. Panera District or regional managers I hope you see this and replace this woman asap, she was the taller one with short hair, dark glasses on the heavier side. She was working at 11am today 4/22/23. She just cost you some customers and I will be passing this around via word of mouth. The bathrooms were disgusting and when my Mom brought it to her attention very kindly her response was “well every restaurant is short on help” my Mom offered to help clean them and she rudely declined her offer, then accused my Mom of telling one of her staff that he was doing a terrible job sweeping. She NEVER said that to the staff. Just awful, will not be returning.

The food was pretty good and the guy that took our order was amazing. The wait time was pretty long and oddly enough, it turned out our order was ready for awhile, but our buzzer never went off. Otherwise, it was a pretty good experience.
