I placed an order for pickup early in the morning, to assure my children would get their favorite bagels as a special treat because they’re stuck at home sick. They decided not to pull my order until I arrived, over an hour after I placed my order (I live 30 miles from the closest Panera). That resulted in me only receiving their last 7 bagels—not even the full dozen I ordered AND PAID IN ADVANCE FOR—and not the flavors my children were longing for. I drove over an hour round trip to get my children a special treat, and instead only wasted time and gasoline to disappoint them. The employee didn’t even act like he cared that they made a mistake not pulling my order when I placed it, and instead told me that “the manager has to give you a refund, you’ll have it in 2-5 days because she has to use a computer.” What?? This whole transaction is ridiculous!

I really like the food at Panera Bread. I think they have very unique flavors and the food is consistently good if not great. The bread and pastries are also very very tasty. The atmosphere is cozy and ordering is easy. The drive through is also great for quick visits. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

I frequent this particular Panera Bread often. I have ordered bagels, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, and bought bread and pastries. Every time I order bagels however, I hear whispers and complaints from the staff because I ask for my six bagels to be sliced with butter. They don’t butter the bagels for you, like every other bagel place does, but rather give you tiny little butter packets so you can butter them yourself. Which is fine, I don’t mind buttering my own bagels, but for some reason asking for three butters, keeping in mind they are small, and asking them to slice them in their machine that does it for them is asking way too much. So I stand there listening to them critique me and whisper about how, “Can you believe she asked for three butters per bagel?” I have definitely spent my money here over the years and I shouldn’t have to feel like I’m this greedy hungry butter thief because my family and I want to enjoy butter on our bagels. That we butter ourselves. Maybe the butters come out of their pay? Not sure but I’m awfully tired of giving them a lot of business only to be treated this way and whispered about that I can clearly hear.

Bought my staff lunch today and one of their salad had a big fly in it.

I ordered a full Strawberry poppyseed salad with chicken. I asked to have the chicken on the side so I could reheat it when I got home later. After waiting for 20 minutes for my order, this is what I found in my bag when I got home. The second picture is how they advertise the salad. Huge disappointment for $12 …. and they forgot the chicken. I won’t be back.

It is panera and I love panera. The usually delicious chipotle chicken avocado sandwich was basically just bread and chicken and everything else was non-existent or missing. It was sad.

I was very unhappy with my visit. I ordered a Cesar salad with chicken. What I got was a bowl of croutons which I picked out and what I show in the pictures.

I normally love Panera Bread but I ordered a Caesar salad and it had no croutons, the wilted lettuce looked like it had been soaked in dressing and put in the fridge for a week!

I am giving 2 stars, this is primarily due to the fact that 3 of the last 4 times I have bought food from here, they have not had any bread at the aptly named restaurant chain. I understand this may be due to the ongoing supply chain issues brought on by Covid 19, and may be out of the owners control. One would think any retail enterprise who cares for its customers would st least make a soggy effort to keep me engaged as a customer. What did they do to remedy the fact that I went to Panera Bread with the implied understanding that I would be able to buy bready goodness, only to leave with NO BREAD?
