Horrible and rude! Service and friendliness gets a 1 today, Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, 2:40pm. The gal who took our order was fine. It was the other gals/managers behind the counter (long ponytail and glasses) that was extremely rude! I ordered 2 Frontega Chicken sandwiches, one without the cheese. When the person was making them, it looked like both had cheese so I double-checked they were doing it right. The ponytail gal said “yes she is” without even looking. Finally, when it was done I simply asked which one is without cheese? Without ever looking at me the gal says “I don’t know you’ll just have to open it up and look yourself.” Ok, um that was rude! Then my daughter went back up to the counter to see if there was dairy in the sauce and the other manager said “I don’t know, you should’ve checked our website before you eat here.” I just couldn’t believe how incredibly RUDE they were to us. Normally, I have no problems at Panera, but we will not be returning to this location: 6036 Mayfield Rd. Mayfield Hts., OH.

I noticed that many guests had negative experiences at this Panera Bread location, but fortunately, we had a pleasant visit. The staff patiently waited while we decided what to order. The food was served promptly, which is typical for all Panera Bread locations.
The food was hot, and my Autumn Squash soup was delicious. The sandwich I ordered came on soft, warm bread. My husband’s salad was tasty as well, although he was a bit disappointed because he expected the apple salad to contain fresh apples instead of apple chips.
The wall fireplace added a lovely touch to the atmosphere. It was a cold day, and sitting next to the fireplace warmed me up quickly. I loved it!

Whenever I come, always have nice service here. Food is great. Their soups are warming, smooth especially broccoli cheddar and butternut squash. Bakery is always excellent, bread and pastries are freshly made. They have a little fire place which is so cozy and warming.

Scanners weren’t working so using the app to pay took forever and was difficult. The manager was fine, but the staff member clearly didn’t want to be there which made being there unpleasant.

Just Close this place already! We try it every few months hoping someone with intelligence has made changes to the staff, ESPECIALLY the Manager! The Manager and staff are horribly rude, have attitude, stay on phones, throw food down on the counter instead of handing it to you. They swear, yell and are just plain horrible human beings!
Orders are never right and frankly I’m afraid to eat there again due to the lack of cleanliness even if the staff did change. What is wrong with the regional manager that she can’t get control of this place.
I have never ever been to any restaurant that can rival how bag this place is. Everyone stop spending money there and maybe they will finally do something. This Panera can only be described as disgusting through and through!

Customer service here is the worst!!!!! ATTITUDE ATTITUDE ATTITUDE in the drive thru. Just wanted to order a coffee. When the ATTITUDE started, I told her I would just go to Mentor and her response was “then go to Mentor.” RUDE OBNOXIOUS TRASH. How is this place still open? Such a shame. Do better at hiring your help Panera. She needs to be fired!!!! After reading what others have gone through, how is this continuing? This is why you’re business is severely declining. The girls at Mentor are great!!!! Smh

This visit did not start bad, but it did take a turn. Arriving and placing our order was fine, but when we received our food that all changed. My boyfriend ordered and large soup and I ordered a small (pictured) they look to have the same amount in them. I did ask the staff and they were very dismissive. A woman, who I’m guessing is the manager, yelled from a cross the kitchen something about the amount of cups in the bowls. So I sat down. My tomato soup was the worst I’ve ever had, and this is my go to order. All of our food was cold and very disappointing. To make it worse the entire time we were eating the staff was yelling, laughing, and even cussing so loud the entire restaurant could hear. Will not be back to eat inside.

The young lady behind the counter was nasty with me when I asked if that was my order on the counter, and super nasty with another customer who asked a simple question about a item Honda self-serve kiosk… Her attitude her body language and her communication was terrible.. and it looks like the rest of the employees felt intimidated by her please do Panera bread a favor send her to Burger King for employment so she can have it her way

Came in with kids meal coupons and was told I couldn’t use them because the manager was too busy. Person at the order counter was very rude. I can think of many ways they could’ve handled this, but they just told me no and acted like I was inconveniencing them by coming in with these coupons.
