The woman at the counter has a severe attitude. She threw my bagel into a bag but never asked if I wanted to slice or toasted. Then when I asked for a slice she was annoyed. She proceeded to put on the same glove she had when she handled the last person’s food. Now mind you, this woman is handling money so her putting on same gloves means that her dirty hands are touching the outside of the gloves at various times. I spend Anywhere from $15 to $40 a week at panera. If you look at my reviews I could take them all over the country Because they are my goto for breakfast and lunch.

I usually have a decent experience here but I tried to put in an online order on 5/17/23 at the Mayfield Heights store around 8:00pm and the system did not allow it. I called and spoke with the store and was basically informed that they wasn”t willing to do a family order at that time but I could pay to get it individually. It would cost me way more money. I paid the extra cost and when I got home and opened my Chicken noodle soup, it was all broth and a few noodles. I called back to the store and complained and was informed they were low on that type of soup. Why not suggest another one? I was not offered a refund. I contacted corporate and was told the store manager would contact me and they never did. Lesson: Do not put in a family order past 7:30pm. Feed your family before then.

This has nothing to do with management or quality. I’m just appalled by the fact that there were 2 young girls sitting on the ground and playing on their phones ON SHIFT. I walked passed them twice thinking they were off work, but no, they sat up and then grabbed a cookie for my online order once I stood there for a couple minutes.

the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. we did drive thru and were very rushed, and when we would ask a question about the food, we were treated horribly and as though we were stupid. i’m fairly certain she was the manager of the store, and I am so disgusted by her attitude and behavior that I will not go back to this location. we were not given our sides for any of our meals, and we ordered through drive through and told we had to go into the store to pick it up. the overall experience was horrendous.

HORRIFIC experience. Upon walking into the restaurant and ordering my usual sandwich, the young lady with glasses working cashier on Wednesday night rolled her eyes and said “we are all out of bread, omg” and gave me such attitude just ordering my food. I’ve had many negative experiences with this location, where I’ve gotten orders with the wrong food, wrong food in drive thru line, and ridiculous wait times both inside and out when nobody else was in line. They are usually out of popular food items early in the day so this specific experience was not surprising to me but the attitude ON TOP of it?? Staff and management here are just terrible. Take your money to the Panera bread in highland heights instead!

This is by far the WORST Panera I’ve ever been to won’t even lie. I’m young and don’t complain much but this was TRASH. Attitudes everywhere, they barley even greet you. They forget eveything, they just slapped the food together.

The staff is super loud! The entire staff working today 5/4/23 morning including the manager was basically screaming across the kitchen during my visit. It genuinely sounded as if there was a party going on. It made for a terrible breakfast experience. Not to mention listening to the manager tell an elderly woman she cant ring her out if she has a card she must use the kiosk. That’s not a simple task for most elderly people and she was literally standing at the register she could’ve just rang her out or asst her with the kiosk. Oh and watching the manager tell a phone costumer she couldn’t verify what if any bagels were left because they are low and she’s not near the bagels (she answered the phone right next to the bagels) then laugh and joke with her staff about how she lies and “shuts down customer questions all the time”. This Panera is just an unprofessional mess.

The manager in the morning is completely rude, throws the food and doesn’t wrap it properly and slams the drive through window HERSELF. This has been the last 3 times I’ve visited this location. Get better management.

The fact that you still have the same management after most of these reviews saying the same thing is beyond me. I witnessed my poor coworker treated so disrespectfully on the phone this morning when calling to get her replacement bowl that she was promised a month ago when she called in to report the wad of hair in her first one. Your manager got on the phone in the nastiest, most condescending voice telling her to call back another time because she cannot be helped during the huge lunch rush that they were in at 11AM and that they don’t care about the replacement bowl that she was promised a month ago and hung up the phone before my coworker could even speak. Get rid of this girl if you want to stay in business. I’m not even close to being the only one to mention her.
