The issues have existed for years.
Food is always made wrong (this exact order for instance was supposed to be have no tomatoes due to an allergy) you’re never given sauces that are requested even when paying for them and when you do get them it ends up like this which then you can’t even eat because there are chunks of plastic all inside of the sauce and the sauce also all over everything in the bag.
When I pointed that out to the guy in the back he literally slide a clear salad container (he was supposed to put the food in that anyways as I requested and ever have issues with at any other location) and had like 2 napkins on top of it.
Also, the bowl of soup my husband got was awful. It smelled rotten and he would’ve been happier with 3D chicken from a Campbell’s can.
Waste of money.
Never again.
The pastries are excellent. They have good texture. They are always fresh. Sometimes they sell out but generally I have been able to get what I wanted.
We met the manager, and he was very friendly and enthusiastic. The staff has also reflected this attitude. One person stands out, in particular. I have ordered bagels here on numerous occasions. I asked Brianna not to use their bagel machine to cut the bagels. She told me she does not use that machine “because it is evil.” I agree. It does not cut the bagels evenly. Another employee, Brenna, agreed with this assessment and also was happy to cut the dozen bagels by hand and was very friendly and helpful.
We very much appreciated this extra effort and their pleasant demeanor and enthusiasm in help fill our orders.
The sandwiches are excellent. The bread if fresh and there is a choice of various types of bread. The salads are also very good. I often get the “you pick 2” with a tuna salad sandwich and asian salad, and have never been disappointed.
The dining room is sometimes dirty and it is hard to find a clean table. This may be due to the time I have visited at breakfast or at lunch. It is inconvenient and less appetizing.
There are also punch keys to use the bathrooms. I suspect the problem may be the number of homeless people who appear to be hanging out there at times. I have sometimes given them extra food but I think it is a problem for management as some customers appear to avoid the area where some of these folks are sitting for long periods without any food in front of them.
