Ordered a “pick 2” with tap water to drink which came to almost $14. Soup was lukewarm, borderline cold, and the new spicy steak sandwich had little steak, and dripping with too much sauce.
The condition of the restaurant was poor…..trash receptacles were overflowing, dirty plates and bowls were stacked up.
Employees had that “I don’t want to be here look and attitude.” No manager in sight.
Disappointing decline in this restaurant. Not going back.
Unfortunately, when I got home I realized they weren’t Asiago everything bagels at all — they were bialys. Even more disappointing, they barely had any “everything” topping. On closer inspection, I found maybe two tiny flecks of garlic and no poppy seeds or other traditional everything seasoning whatsoever. My wife summed it up perfectly by calling it a “nothing bialy.”
I’m very glad I only ordered half a dozen of these. I’d strongly recommend that anyone interested in trying the Asiago Everything ask to see them first before ordering. I don’t know if this was a one-off mistake or if this is how they’re normally made, but either way, they were a big letdown.
And why can’t I post a picture of it?
