For nearly $20, I expected a meal that reflected the quality Panera is known for. Instead, it was one of the most disappointing takeout experiences I’ve had in a long time. The sandwich I received was incredibly underwhelming—there was barely any protein, and several of the listed toppings were missing altogether. It felt hastily thrown together. Worse, the soup was clumpy, had a strange texture, and tasted like it had been sitting for far too long. It honestly felt old. Not sure what’s going on, but definitely won’t be coming back.

I had a very disappointing experience at this Panera Bread tonight 1/14/2026 8:40ish PM due to the extremely rude and unprofessional behavior of one employee.

When my girlfriend and I arrived, the blonde employee with a tattoo on her left wrist was openly flirting with another customer for 5–10 minutes while a line formed behind them. When it was finally our turn, she abruptly told us they “only had 15 minutes left,” setting an unfriendly and rushed tone from the start.

My girlfriend politely asked what pastries were still available, and the employee responded with a rude, condescending attitude, speaking to her as if she were unintelligent. When my girlfriend asked about using a birthday coupon from the Panera app, the employee became dismissive and impatient. She could not clearly explain how the Pick Two works or how pricing applies to certain items, yet seemed irritated that we were asking basic menu questions.

When we calmly mentioned that we did not appreciate her attitude, she escalated the situation by raising her voice and mockingly saying, “This is how I sound with a bad attitude.” She then stormed off instead of completing our order.

The situation was made worse by the fact that none of the employees were wearing name tags, making it difficult to identify who was responsible for the behavior. Thankfully, the manager stepped in and was polite, professional, and helpful, and was able to take our order quickly and respectfully.

As we were leaving, other customers even commented that they had noticed the same employee treating people poorly, confirming this was not an isolated incident. This experience was uncomfortable and unacceptable, and I hope management takes this seriously, as no customer should be treated this way.

What a fantastic visit, after working a 15 hour day today and taking a lunch break after 7 and 1/2 hours today, I needed some coffee and a bagel. I know the staff is dealing with grouchy Christmas shoppers all day but they were poised, professional and very friendly. Grey behind the counter was extremely friendly and the manager ty personally delivered the food to my table and said she knows I’m working hard and to have a merry Christmas.

I don’t normally write middling reviews of places, but my family and I had such a strange experience at Panera. The service wasn’t terrible, but everyone felt disinterested and disengaged, and we were only one of two groups in the place; at one point, the server completely spaced out while I was placing my order, and I ended having to repeat it. I don’t mind repeating myself if someone doesnt hear me or it’s loud. In this case, the person just broke eye contact and went somewhere else in their head. The rest of the staff interactions were similarly bizarre or off-putting. It seemed like no one wanted to be there and no one was happy to have customers.

The food was…. fine? Although, we weren’t asked the usual options of bread/chips/apple with our order, so we had just SO MUCH bread. It didnt taste particularly fresh, but nothing tasted especially bad. It was just sort of… there?

The whole vibe in the place was weird. There wasn’t much energy other than the energy you get when you can tell someone is annoyed by your presence.

I hate leaving a bad review, but my wife and I couldn’t help but remember to each other that Panera used to be a place that had great food, great service, and an atmosphere so awesome that you used to have to wait for a table. It doesn’t feel that way anymore. Hopefully they can turn it around?

Sip club is definitely worth it. Paying sub 5 bucks for a month of coffee and daily deals on the meals? I would say Yes all day.

this a sad excuse for a sandwich i ordered a tomato basil BLT and i got this. waited way too long for this the 2 people before me got their orders significantly faster. i think they used the wrong bread it tasted like shortbread. i also didnt get my chips 🙁 the picture is just half of it they gave me 2 small ones instead of a normal one cut in half i was hungry so i ate the first one

I tried to order soup in a bread bowl but the app kept saying you were out so I called and spoke a delightful lady on the phone that took my order for Mac and cheese which my daughter loves the bread with – also out of, and then my other daughter and I wasn soup in a bread bowl which they were out, so she said I’m going do something. I’ll take the bread we use for sandwich melts and cut it up for your orders! When I went to pick it up she heard me say my name and came out from the back to personally hand to me! It was the manager Anissa! (Not sure if I spelled correctly) she’s got a gift of excellent customer service elevating what would have been a disappointment to an excellent and yummy experience. Thank you Anissa!
