The most horrible Caesar salad wrap. Soggy wrap and wilted, soggy lettuce. At these prices, there is no excuse for this food not to be fresh. How horrible to sell and serve things they probably wouldn’t eat themselves. This was definitely not made today. When travelers are in a hurry and trying to grab a quick, healthy bite before their flight and this is what they are selling. Disgraceful. Do better. I will never eat here again. Shame on you, panera.

While traveling, we stopped in Charlotte for breakfast in between flights. With a little figuring out of where to enter the restaurant, we were able to place our order with a very nice employee and have our food within eight minutes. The coffee was scrumptious and the food was delicious.

Too bad you can’t rate a location at 0 stars. The hours for this location are incorrect. I was traveling back home and my flight was departing at 6am. The reason I was leaving so early was because the day before my flight had been cancelled. I knew from being there the day before that the there was a Panera location near my gate which was gate A21. I looked on their app and it showed they opened at 4am so I decided I was going to grab breakfast there and decided to forego any of the other restaurants I passed walking to that area. When I get there it is noticeably closed with the lights off but there’s a Caucasian woman with brown hair and glasses working behind the counter getting food ready. So I politely asked “excuse me, what time do you open?” She then chose to respond to me by saying “we open at 6 and if we keep getting questions on what time we open, we won’t open then.” I was taken aback because she did not have to respond that way. It was incredibly rude and unprovoked and when I tried to explain to her the reason people probably keep asking her what time they open is because their website and even Google show they are open at 4am. She kept cutting me off and telling me she couldn’t help me and they open at 6. There are zero signs there too that display their hours. I absolutely plan to call their corporate office on her. It was uncalled for the way I was spoken to and no matter what your job is, who you are – kindness costs absolutely nothing and be kind because you never know what someone is going through. I hope she sees this and takes it as a growth opportunity to be better.

Just like other reviewers I stopped here between gate changes for my short layover. I’ve never had Panera before but I was starving and short on time. Paid for my overpriced food and sat there for 25 minutes waiting. Meanwhile I watched the girl in back slowly make each sandwich and at one point took a few minutes break to laugh and joke around with her coworker. I ended up having to abandon my food to catch my flight.

An airport location should have a lot faster service. I’ll never go to another Panera again and calling tomorrow for a refund. Completely unacceptable, over 25 minutes for a sandwich. I’ve had steakhouses serve better food in half the time.

Had a longer layover and was craving a salad so I decided to give this place a try. Ordering was easy at the kiosk and they had almost all their regular Panera item minus some speciality drinks. I ordered a chicken salad and no joke I had it in my hands in eight minutes, even in their dinner rush! My salad was yummy and would go here again if I had another layover.

Wow, what a mess this place was. Take out orders only with nothing but sandwiches, mac and cheese and soups. Had about 40 mins to my flight and needed dinner. There were maybe 10 orders in front of mine. 30 mins later (for a sandwich and some soup) and I was told it was going to be another 20 mins for my order. Needless to say I abandoned the order in preference for my flight. I get being short staffed but it’s a sandwich and some soup. Very disappointing and can’t say I’ll try this location again. If ur under a time restraint, go elsewhere.

When the order was ready, she called out names instead of the order number and it was hard to make out what she was saying. When I got the order I opened it to see if it was right but the label was unmarked so I had to open it first. The experience was okay, no one was rude or anything but it took a long time and was pretty disorganized.

This place shouldn’t even be allowed to operate on airport property. Two hours before closing, they’re cleaning the place up and telling people they aren’t making anymore hot sandwiches. I order a salad and cup of chili thinking that should be easy enough. Nope, 20 mins later, no one in line had gotten their food, and they tell me they don’t have any chili left. I ended up asking for a refund and left.

Unbelievably slow service. You would think they could do their jobs and provide food within 45 minutes of ordering. Almost had to leave my food because of how slow they are. Meanwhile the whole staff is gabbing along like they don’t have a job to do. Also made their own personal food before getting to the several orders on the board. Avoid at all cost unless you want to spend 45 minutes waiting for a subpar sandwich for $25

I had a terrible experience at this Panera Bread (airport location). The staff were very unprofessional — they didn’t even bother asking if I wanted to order and were too busy chatting among themselves. When I finally placed my order, I was made to wait for 30 minutes despite there being very few customers. The kitchen staff also seemed extremely slow.

After all that waiting, they gave my order to someone else. When I asked about my salad, an employee named Joaris tried to convince me it was actually a sandwich, even though the menu clearly listed it as a chicken walnut salad. Only when I pushed back did he say he would make something new — but by then, after 30 minutes of waiting in an airport (while hungry and worried about missing my flight), I had no patience left.

I requested a refund, but to make things worse, they only refunded $11.50 out of $13.50 and kept the tip — despite completely messing up my order and wasting my time. No apology, no accountability, just terrible attitude.

This was by far the worst Panera experience I’ve ever had. I don’t recommend anyone visit this location. I truly hope Panera corporate takes action against the staff, the manager, and especially the employee Joaris.
