Daughter and I tried ordering two sandwich item pick two meals, both of which the main type of bread they use for the sandwiches was unavailable. They only had three types of bread currently available, and for her caprese sandwich, there was no substitution. I substituted my bread for Asiago for my chicken salad. When pulling up to the pick up window, the staff didn’t greet me or thank me, but rather took my payment. There was also a bit longer of a wait time to get our food. We live in Williamsburg, and I’m so thankful I checked the order prior to driving, as my chicken salad was placed on a chocolate chip bagel. I took my sandwich back inside to inquire about it not being put on an Asiago roll, which I was told was available while ordering, and there were plenty in the display conntainer in the front that i saw once inside. The gentleman, another employee, was very kind and had staff remake my sandwich using the appropriate roll and gave me a free pastry. It would have been more acceptable for a manager to have spoken with me and my sandwich/meal to have been compensated for the inconvenience.

Food is rarely consistent & staff regularly ignore special requests on orders like items added or subtracted from a sandwich. I’ve been given my spinach on the side. Didn’t realize panera was going the Ikea route expecting customers to build their own sandwiches. Got a sandwich on Ciabata today and it looks more like a baguette. Smallest sandwich I’ve ever gotten from panera, at least half the size of what it’ supposed to be and has been every time prior. I kind of wonder if this IS just one of the free side baguettes and not ciabata. Clearly the outgoing food line doesn’t receive enough supervision which doesn’t shock me considering every time I come in the manager can be seen sitting at the table closest to the kitchen. You can always tell who the manager is based on the one employee sitting.

The worst and nonexistent customer service ! I ordered to go bagels and received an email that it was ready. When I got to the store I was told they ran out of bagels. I was told they are making more. Noproblem! Went to pick up second time after receiving a call from that they were ready! They were not ready! I am okay with that but I am not okay with the entitled looking cashiers service ! Train your people on customer service please!

Had lunch here and it was spot on! I had the summer poppyseed salad and a ham and cheese sandwich. Everything was super fresh, sandwich was loaded, and the service was fast and friendly. Management was out on the floor cleaning tables constantly which was really nice to see. They have a large outside dining patio with plenty of seating, umbrellas for shade and room to social distance.

I usually get great service at this location but today I am highly upset with my delivery order. I would avoid getting the steak and cheddar sandwich which only had a couple slices of meat and a small amount of cheese and onion. Everything else in the order was good so not sure how they fell short there. A quality check needs to be implemented before sending out.

When we landed in Virginia we were hungry and decided to have small pizza and mango smoothie. We ordered in the cafe and we got our order in 10-15 minutes. The pizza was hot and its crust was also delicious. It was very well prepared. We loved its taste. The mango smoothie was very sour and we couldn’t drink it. We threw the mango smoothie out as it was difficult to drink.

Stopped with my family for dinner. The manager (Maggie) and her staff was over the top nice. They have a great attitude and offered free pastries to my kids and then to my wife and myself. Completely unexpected and nice treat for our road trip. We always love Panera’s food but this service made this a great stop!
