The food at this Panera Bread is okay, and while the wait times are usually longer than they should be, that’s not the main issue. The real reason I’m leaving this review is because of the condition of the bathrooms.

For a food establishment, the restrooms are shockingly unclean. I honestly don’t know how they passed a health inspection. The toilets look like they haven’t been properly cleaned in a very long time, and the baby changing station in the women’s bathroom has visible mold on it. That’s not just unpleasant—it’s unsafe. How is anyone supposed to place an infant on that?

It’s disappointing and unacceptable. Panera Bread needs to take this seriously and make immediate improvements.

Went in on 9/18 and ordered a brócoli and cheese soup and a home style chicken noodle soup . Waited way longer than I needed to for two soups and watched several people get called . Finally I got my order checked the bag saw the broccoli and cheese and the other soup under it so I know I had the soups . Got all the way home to find the second soup wasn’t chicken noodle but some thick gray rice concoction . Moral of the story is always check your order even when it’s literally just a ladle of soup. Panera do better that was very disappointing and now I’m starting to wonder if you ran out of the chicken noodle and substituted that grey mess. Lost confidence !

This restaurant has great employees. They have great tasting food as all Panera do. My review is geared more towards Panera the corporation due to their prices and portions. These 2 appetizer size Mac n cheese bowls I got as a pick 2 deal so 5.89 each. Regular price is even higher. So with tax I paid over $12 for 2 appetizer size portions. This was my lunch☹️ I can’t afford to eat here anymore. I had a dollar off coupon that I got in an email on 7/24 (it’s 8/16 today) and apparently it must have expired bc the person taking my order said that it didn’t show up when I put in my phone number, yet there was no expiration date on it in my email. Even if there was an expiration date, you would think it should be more than just a few weeks. When I saw the tiny portions I received, I brought my tray back up to the counter and asked a gentleman if they could fill the bowls a little more. He said he was unable to, it is portion controlled, that is the exact portion they give. This was my last Panera visit, it’s just not worth it.

The food was, as always, delicious. The visit was made special by Jianna’s smile. Jianna appreciated hearing about the community connections and the reviewer’s story. ❤️ The reviewer recommends Panera Bread in Freehold for the food and sense of community. Jianna brightened a US Army veteran’s day! ✨

I’m not sure what happened last time I went April 21st but this was so nasty and greesy I threw it out. Chipotle chicken avacado melt, it’s bad enough that they changed the menu and some ingredients but this was bad. I always order online so I have proof of when and where I order, do better.

I love going to Panera, however when I went to bathroom it was very old and filthy. Paint looked years old, definitely needs an upgrade( tile bathroom easy to clean and appealing) to match rest of a great place to eat.
