I’m writing this review from a place of deep confusion and mild betrayal. Let me start by saying that this Dairy Queen location is, by all measurable standards, a shining example of fast food excellence. The staff? Delightful. Like, genuinely happy to be there, which is either great management or they’re putting something wonderful in the employee break room coffee. The place was spotless—I’m talking “you could perform surgery on these tables” clean. My order came out fast, accurate, and properly assembled. The Blizzard was perfectly mixed. The fries were hot and crispy. Everything was going beautifully. And then there was the chili dog. I don’t know what happened in the journey from ingredients to bun, but somewhere along the line, this chili dog made a wrong turn. Maybe it passed through a cursed dimension. Maybe it was assembled during a lunar eclipse. The staff didn’t do anything wrong—they handed it to me with pride. But that chili dog tasted like regret mixed with a grudge. It was like someone described chili to an alien who then tried to recreate it from memory using only spite and abandoned hopes.
Everything else? Chef’s kiss. That chili dog? It knows what it did. So yeah, four stars. I’ll be back, but I’ll be ordering literally anything else.

I am happy this Dairy Queen is open during the winter months. I hope they will continue to do so. The ice cream is superb and the atmosphere is family friendly. I am an out-of-towner and wish the Dairy Queen outlets in my area were like this one. GREAT PLACE TO VISIT!

The food was okay. The service mediocre. The person took my order incorrectly and when I advised him of it…he chose not to fix the mix-up. I realize some places don’t care and I guess this is one of them….smh. the flurries were tasty.

The quality of the food has gone down! I ordered the chicken strip basket (4 piece) and ended up throwing two away bc they didn’t look cooked. Half afraid I’ll get sick from the 2 I did eat. Missing stuff frequently. One time there was no cheesecake in my blizzard.

Very clean. The two gentle man working were very kind. They brought your lunch out to you once it was ready. We just walked back up for your Sunday when we were ready for it so it didn’t melt while we were eating our lunch. I definitely will be back for a quick lunch before shopping again.
I got the 3 piece chicken strips with lots of hot fries and a drink. Hot fudge Sunday for desert. $7 plus tax. So worth stopping and getting.

Went there on 8/4/25. Ordered 4 Blzzards, nothing special. Order was taking longer than usual, not a big deal, until I noticed as we were waiting, the cashier who had our 4 spoons in his hands, proceeded to thumb the 4 spoons as he fidgeted with them waiting for the order to be completed. I watched him thumb our spoons, touching the spoon part you eat with, on all 4 spoons, for about 30 seconds straight. Disgusting, this is the guy handling money!!! This place is under new ownership, and it shows. They are lucky I did not take a video and post on social media.

I have ordered online twice and arrived at least 5 minutes before the order was supposed to be ready. Each time, my ice cream is melted. Instead of making it and putting it in a freezer, it sits on the counter or in the fridge. Definitely place the order there if you’re getting ice cream so you don’t end up with milk and add-ins.

Wow! Stopped in on Monday evening on July 31 and we were “greeted” by some of the rudest, most inconsiderate group of employees — they were unfriendly, short-tempered and lacked any semblance of customer service. It seemed as though the manager wanted to not be there and his poor behavior radiated to the rest of the employees. The DQ in Mechanicsburg does it right — friendly staff, chunky blizzards — top notch service, exactly the opposite of the Camp Hill location!

I find all Dairy Queens to be very similar, and in my opinion that’s a good thing. Not all of them have a grill and the food usually is quite good. I usually get a blizzard and you don’t have to get the advertised ones. I like them with bananas and pineapples and pecans almost like a Hawaiian except they no longer have the coconut. Which I think is pretty strange. I mean, is there some kind of coconut shortage that has made the price too high?
