Very nice service by the gentleman at the front. Our food was out quick once we let them know we were in bit of a rush and the food was very filling not the best I’ve ever had but definitely a great value for the price. Dinner combo was about $11 pre-tax and included a generous serving of protein, fried rice and an eggroll. Not the nicest area around so keep that in mind.

I decided to try this Chinese restaurant for the first time this evening. The man (owner?) behind the counter is extremely nice and the other staff appears to be as well. I placed a to-go order and with it being Christmas Eve around dinner time it did take a little while to prepare but I didn’t mind the wait. The vegetable spring rolls are a little on the greasy side, but I enjoyed the General Tso’s chicken, Beef & Broccoli, and Chicken Lo Mein. Their rice is also good. Prices and portions are good. I would recommend this place to those in the area, and I’ll be back for sure. On the front walls they had a bunch of local schools write up posters and I think the restaurant donated money to them or provided them with meals? If so, I definitely appreciate a business that helps out the local educational system.

First impression, very chilly in here. My food got cold within 10 minutes. Not much traffic here, no more than 2 other people here during my visit. Granted it was a Wednesday evening.
Service was very quick and quite good, though a quick check up now and then would have been helpful. Food was very good, except for the beef. Seems to be a very low grade of beef with much fat and gristle. I couldn’t even chew some pieces. I’d steer clear of any dishes with beef, you won’t be happy. Shrimp tail shell still in place, in cooked food. Place appeared clean with very little staff in view. Food came out quickly and hot. Once on plate, however, it cooled of quite quickly because of cold temperature of inside restaurant. Temperature is the only part of experience that was quite annoying. It cut our stay and marred the experience. It was like management was looking for quick turn over or cheaping out on the heat. For this reason alone, I would not recommend this place and would hesitate before going here again. Wife seemed to enjoy her food, but same complaint about cold restaurant.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant ever since I’ve been a child. My family moved to Charlotte in 1997, and for as long as I can remember, this has been my favorite Chinese food restaurant. I went back yesterday night and the food is still as amazing as I remember. Portions are phenomenal And the music that they play always sound so traditional it immediately adds to the atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back more often and planning my 30th birthday to eat here during the summertime. An amazing restaurant and even better memories.

It’s difficult to find an actual table service Chinese restaurant these days, much less one with an actual Chinese language menu, so we were excited to try the homestyle authentic Chinese dishes at Panda’s Den! There are also pictures and we had the help of a translation app. Hot tea came in a familiar metal pot and small cups for $1.95/person, and rice in a big bowl.
Our unanimous favorite dish was the eggplant with shrimp (P10)–thick slices of the long Chinese eggplant in a delicious garlic sauce. Other recommendations are the salt and pepper fish (P8) and Pork Udon (P18).
They also had stewed egg 滷蛋 and tofu (G19), but they were a bit salty. The Sa Cha green beans (G8) were good, and only $6.95.
The crab Seafood soup is a big bowl for sharing and has a decent amount of shrimp and scallops, with some crab, underneath the egg white layer on top.

Ordered take out and got the garlic chicken upgraded with special friend rice with a side of hot and sour soup. The soup was fire I would go back just for that alone. Garlic chicken was great too. The pork in the special fried rice looked a little lower quality but other than that everything was delicious. Had to wait a little bit at the front desk but they were probably short staffed. 10/10 would go back

Not good! Sesame Chicken tasted old not fresh. One piece of dry chicken in the chicken fried rice and the egg roll was stone cold. Caused me a headache. Not worth $27

I don’t care for greasy food. And food over cooked and cooked fast and mushy on inside. Spring Eggs rolls are small and very greasy. At first I wasn’t gonna post, but why should I care, if he felt it was ok to serve me greasy rolls. I hope he does better in the future. And give napkins!! I could of use some to soak up the grease
